Okay so the last Guild War Prompt was a little heavy. That’s okay, sometimes life is heavy and stories must be honest.
ON THE OTHER HAND, we don’t want to leave everybody feeling low, so this time around we’ve got a more… light-hearted prompt: “Write a scene from the point of view of a five-year-old who has an engaging character voice.”
Due date is the 23rd and the max wordcount is 2,500.
Here is the link to the doc where we can start compiling ideas.
First order of buisness: what do five-year-olds do? Those of you with test subjects to study and observe feel free to chime in, we need a scene to build this narrative voice around. And remember, any good scene has conflict, but we want to keep the conflict rooted in something a 5-year-old understands.
Who’s up for the test? (And who’s really aware of the fact that Avesnbeck winning these is really old?) Let’s get some good ideas moving around before we actually start writing, I want at least two pages of bullet points before any prose hits the document. (Why? Because I’m a grumpy drill sergeant who’s coming down with a cold, that’s why.)
To arms, Rillumen!
