May I beta read Ridgeline? I have time to give thorough feedback. Are there any particular areas you’d like advice on?

My goal is to add something to my website every day. I drew a map of one of my fantasy worlds a couple days ago, and once I finish designing the website I’m going to start writing a serialized story and posting parts of it on the website.

I’ll read some short stories. I don’t understand poetry as well, so my critiques on poems won’t be as insightful. You can share a google docs file with me at the account toklahammail@gmail.com.

I’m also studying for the SAT. As well as learning cybersecurity, Spanish, Japanese and human anatomy, and reading an immense mountain of books. All this has made my brain explode and it’ll be a while before I manage to put enough pieces back together to write again.

I’m working on a scene for this challenge.

When you attend a seminar on homeschooling children with autism, not because you know anyone who’s autistic, but because you have vague plans to write an autistic protagonist sometime in the future.

My goal is to create a table detailing how the magic system in my fictional universe works. That way if I ever need a character to have a certain ability, I’ll have a reference point for how they got it, how it works, and what sort of limitations it has.

I feel there should be a sense of doom pervading the scene… maybe everything seems to indicate that one character is going to die, but at the end his best friend dies instead?

Or, a character could go to get revenge on his worst enemy, only to find out it was actually someone he loved.

I vote for Dire Recompense.

I procrastinated until the last moment, then wrote everything on my goal list Sunday afternoon.
