It is time to draw our swords/pens and begin battle in earnest! We are ready to start writing! Thank you 3000 to everyone who offered to write—I was worried that @karthmin would be writing it himself, but several people have volunteered to help. Thank you! That said, if you haven’t yet volunteered to write but want to, or find yourself with a spare moment and want to pop in, please join in!

We have settled on a story in an almost video-game like format. The Narrator is a snarky AI guiding our player and a couple NPCs through a sci-fi maze to reach the center where an artifact (maybe cake?) lays for the taking. However, as NPCs begin dying around the Player, he realizes that the Narrator is actually the villain of the story—yet he can’t succeed without it’s help. There is a final battle, and both the Narrator and Player die. In 2500 words or under. Yikes.

Then the credits roll and Still Alive plays. Just kidding… I’ll just be over here in the corner fan-girling over Portals and crying because they are never going to make another one.
