Ah, so true! God is good, though your world is falling apart. He knows the reason, though it’s really dark sometimes. 🙂

Wow, yeah. Thanks! Great explanations. 🙂
I understand what you mean about having experiences you’re grateful for, even if you wouldn’t want to do it again. Same thing happened to me when I was in a crash that could have been fatal…glad to be able to know what that was like, but would not want to do it again! And in that case,…[Read more]

going to add something here.
For me it felt like @papergirlsfb said, but it also seemed to take forever for me to hit the ground. I could’ve sworn that it was at least 30 secs to a minute before I hit the ground  (because I was having a really weird inner dialogue while being happy that I had experienced this so that I would be able to write…[Read more]

@papergirlsfb No, I did not. I was slightly confused for a moment because my shoe had seemed to disappear. It had actually come off and flown over the fence! But no, no concussion.

@papergirlsfb That’s interesting… I’ve never fainted or passed out, but I was knocked out once. It was… so weird. It was literally like a little block of my life had been taken away. I was running after a guy, playing Capture the Flag, and he turned around right as I caught him, slamming me to the ground. It was instantly black, then I was…[Read more]

@papergirlsfb I have like fainted/blacked out for a little bit before, and it was pretty much like you described. Just for different reasons though.

Thanks for the description! You should make a topic and post it there for a lot of writers. 🙂 You could hear what was going on after you had fainted, then? Or was it a medically-induced “passing out”?

Welll… I don’t know if there is such a word, but here are some ways to describe it: reluctant, unwilling, disinclined, forced, half-hearted, unenthusiastic, hesitant. Maybe that’ll help you find your word? At this link https://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/respect it mentions grudging respect; respect given unwillingly.

@papergirlsfb Thank you! How are you feeling after your surgery?
And good news! I went to get x-rays today, and I’m allowed to start coming out of the boot!

Ha! I actually did it last night. XD And right. Not at all. Just another day in the life of an insane lunatic aka a writer.
Luckily my brother isn’t there when I do it. Otherwise he probably would grab another knife and start fighting me. Which wouldn’t end well. At all.

@papergirlsfb I have this problem too! I’m almost to scared to buy YA books because I’m afraid I will just have to throw it away again. It really is a shame.

I hope I’m not replying too late, I didn’t even realize I had been added to a guild until I saw the Camp Artifex badge on my profile.
I feel very silly.
Anyway, hi, I’m NC, I primarily write sci-fi and fantasy, and I’m going to go be embarrassed in a corner for a minute. *goes* *is embarrassed* *returns*Â @papergirlsfb I like your sig line! Is…[Read more]

@papergirlsfb Yes, NaNoWriMo is for November, but you can prep for it during April and July when Camp NaNo’s going on. It’s a great learning experience, even if you don’t do the whole word count.

@papergirlsfb Gotcha. Yep, I’ve often found that the only way to finish things is to focus mainly on them. Ever given NaNoWriMo a try?
