Don’t worry. Nothing too drastic is going to be happening. But, there are going to be some changes, which the Guildmasters have been talking about and discussing for a few months now. We believe that these changes will help the forums (both general and guild forums) run more smoothly.

Please head on over to Daeus’ post and read it from beginning to end. It’s not long, but it does explain some of these new things. Any questions you have will be answered by yours truly. *bows*

Forum and guild improvements

Also, just in case you don’t read the rest of the replies on that thread, we’re going to be phasing out of the mass tagging thing. So apparently, all along there’s been a really neat feature called a “Subscribe” button at the top right of the topics. And if you hit that button, you will get an email for any new reply or new topic created within that subforum. So, for example, if you hit Subscribe on this subforum (Announcements), you’ll get an email every time anything is posted in it!

If you could kindly subscribe to the five (or is it six?) subforums that we have (Announcements, Achievements, Theme Discussion, Writing Discussion, Prayer Requests, etc…) this will mean that I (and our other position-holding Ereki), won’t have to tag every single one of you in order to make a group announcement.

I think that just about sums it up.

We’ll finish out our theme discussion on Character Development in two weeks or so, and then the new system of Theme Discussion will be implemented. 🙂 You’ll still be hearing from me every week, and I’ll probably interact with the discussion article that week when I post it initially (even if I’m not the one to write it). In addition, I’ll have more time to devote to guild maintenance and making sure that we’re continuing to build a strong and helpful community for all of us. 😀
