That’s alright @naiya-dyani haha. I’ve been pretty busy too lately, what with debate and school and Teenpact and literally every other thing.
Yeah, my family has some Chinese in us haha. At least, on my dad’s side there is. I’m mostly Taiwanese, but 21 generations ago, my dad’s family came to Taiwan from China haha.

Oh yes haha. I’m INTP/J. It kinda varies. Personally, I don’t look at the MBTI-scale as an at all viable scientific concept, but it’s fun to joke around with haha. How about you?

Interesting experience with languages. I’m assuming English was the one you were born with?
I was raised for a few years speaking Mandarin, but I was switched onto English once I started preschool. By now, I’ve forgotten most of my Mandarin; but I can at least understand most of it when I hear it being spoken. Currently, I’m learning Latin as it is a requirement of my school curriculum haha. It’s difficult, but I’m getting the hang of it sort of.Intriguing. Haha, I know how that is. Sometimes I like to trick my friends into asking VERY specific questions about whatever I’m working on, just so I can UNLOAD twenty minutes of creative ranting haha. It’s exhilerating, but also, as it turns out, not great for writing. Because if you get a writer’s high before you even finish your work, then there’s no motivation afterwards. It was a major revelation when I discovered that that was what I had been doing essentially all my life haha. Now I *try* to be a little more secretive. But it’s hard not to share your genius, you know?
Yeeeeep! Haha, it’s definitely a satirical game. There’s no winning in the socialist system literally until you cheat. 😉 I haven’t played it yet, but I plan to on Monday. I think it’s shorter because there’s only four players allowed? I was interested in it because I have strong opinions on socialism, and my dad thought it’d make a funny gift haha
Thanks! I think we’re all improving by now. The kids are eating and playing (and louder) again; and I’m coughing up a lot of phlegm, which I think is a sign I’m running towards the end of it? Anyway, I should be fine by Monday, which is my last debate meeting for the year — exciting!

Interesting! The extent of my Japanese skills mainly comes from watching all the old Godzilla movies haha, and not much else. French is a beautiful language though. I want to learn it someday. But it’s Latin for now. 😉

If speculative fiction is what I think it is, then that’s EXACTLY why I’m doing it haha.
To be fair though, I did buy “A Writer’s Guide to Weapons” by Benjamin Sobieck, so like, I’m practically an expert on guns now if I do say so myself. 😉 There’s nothing in the book about chainsaw-crossbows though.Worldbuilding is awesome haha. I try to do it, but I’m not very good at it outside of just imagining a few different things. I have ideas, but it’s hard to expand after that since my mind moves on pretty quickly. Are you worldbuilding for your speculative fiction?

@naiya-dyani , interesting! Huh… that’s really cool — in fact, I think a lot of what I’ve been writing may be speculative fiction then haha. That’s pretty weird.
Although the reason it’s speculative fiction is probably more because “IT’S ANOTHER WOOORRRLD” is easier than doing your research ahha. If so, then I’m guilty.

@naiya-dyani , understandable haha. I’m active there mainly because I have an established personality, and it’d be hard to leave now haha.
Honestly, I’ll write whatever’s on my mind at the moment. I’m a very visually-orientated person though, so whatever I write, it tends to have complicated action scenes. Not necessarily fighting, but lots of movement haha. I’ve written short bits of horror, drama, mystery, and all a bit combined. It depends!
Hm, I’ve heard of speculative fiction before; but I’m not sure what it is? Want to save me a Google search haha?
