Hullo. . . This is Dee-G checking in to say I’ve reached the entrance of Story Embers. . . creating introduction topic now. . . What? They want to know stuff about me? Oh, time to crack out the files then.
Alright, let’s see here… *slight rustle of turning pages* I love to write, draw, sing, listen to music, eat, and I hope to make people’s day a little brighter through what I do. And most of all, GLORIFY GOD WITH MY CREATIONS!! *long blur of radio static cut off to reveal silence*
*rustle, as if someone’s shifting in their chair*
So… that’s me. I’m glad to be here, and I hope I can become a part of this awesome community! ^.^ (I also stepped on my radio. . . anyone know how to fix long range communication devices?)

@dee-g-blueshine Join a guild! We have several writing guilds as well as one art guild (I’m in the art guild!). Other than that, it’s basically just like Kingdom Pen. 😉

Welcome to the club, Dee-G!!! Super great to have you! It appears as though you’ll fit right in, especially since you already know some folks. 😉 What is your favorite genre to write in (if that hasn’t already been asked)?
Married a blacksmith, and now frequently uses his knowledge for writing fantasy.

@the-fledgling-artist Hullo and thank you! I’m glad to be here. I write fantasy, some science fiction, and just a touch of historical fiction. I’ve dabbled in writing a memoir, but, uh… didn’t get far. XD As for drawing mediums, I’m not entirely familiar with the term, but I draw with basically whatever I can get my hands on. I use a sketch pad and pencil, sometimes I ink my drawings in with a black Bic pen and use colored pencils with it as well. (So fancy!) I tried using those pencils with the varying hardness but. . . I didn’t notice much difference in my drawings while using them, and I couldn’t keep track of all the pencil variations. I love seeing what I can do with even just the most basic art supplies; I’m a simple soul that way…

@selah-chelyah I did join Kingdom Pen, but never stuck around long enough to become much of a community member. -deep sigh- I haven’t logged on in ages. ;P My favorite genres? Er, already answered! @dee-g-blueshine Medium just means what you use to make art. Like paints, or pencils, or markers. 😀 I love sketching with ballpoint pens too! If you ever decide to post some of your art to the forums I’d love to see!
