Well, writing went out the window, like I feared it would. XD (thanks a lot, Thanksgiving…) I only wrote around 400 words. I’m definitely not hitting 50k for nano, but I want to at least get 25k this last week. 🙂

ugh, I’m not too great at describing setting either. I have a hard time finding a balance between giving enough for the readers and going into way too much detail.

@millennium-m Everyone can cover this much better than I can, but I would say some very subtle foreshadowing as to his hidden evil intents might help. Just certain things he does or says that aren’t necessarily bad in themselves, but could be. Kind of mysterious. 😉

@inkling-for-christ I think Brianna covered it. 😉 In my opinion, chapters don’t matter too much in the first draft. I mean, it doesn’t have to be a hard and fast rule. Some people just write the whole book and then separate into chapters later. That’s just me though. 🙂
