Yay, my first guild theme discussion!
Oh I loooove language! That’s one of the things I enjoy most about the idea that I’ve been developing in my head and done a tiny bit of preliminary work on.
In the series I’m working on right now, all of the humans speak the same language (they all lived in very close proximity to each other until not that…[Read more]

Congratulations! I just finished a round of editing too. It’s relieving and daunting!

Knaphello!
Are there any Featherheads here besides me and @kari-karast?
If you’ve read the Wingfeather Saga, what were your favorite aspects on a deep level, like themes and what the characters learned? What made you laugh? Which parts made you feel the most strongly or think the most deeply? What parts did you think could have been better?…[Read more]

Yeah…they’re very hard to read. But to me they were completely worth it. Gammon’s deal terrified me too! And I love his other identity!
Would you guys be interested in a literary discussions thread for the Wingfeather Saga?
XD I could see how that would feel weird

Ohhh, you haven’t read the best two books yet! 🙂 Peet will probably still be one of your favorites at the end (I think he’s still my official favorite), and Gammon is also soooo goooood. And Maraly. And Armulyn the Bard! I still think Janner might take the first place trophy though, for reasons you’ll understand when you’ve finished…[Read more]

Oh, and @maddiejay, you’re an INFJ too? Cool! I guess that’s the best part about having a rare personality type–it’s exciting when you find someone else with the same one. 🙂
I also forgot to mention how much I love lions.

Looks like no one’s been on this for a while, but I’m new, so…
From the first time I heard “Knaphollow,” I pictured pretty much exactly what @duskflower described. Plus the knapsacks! I love knapsacks! I have one that I take with me everywhere.
In fact I’ve liked basically all the suggestions so far. I also like @kb-writer‘s idea of different…[Read more]

Thank you! I’ll get to work on all the fun profile stuff soon. Yes! What are your favorite scenes/characters/other stuff from the Green Ember and Wingfeather series?
😂 Thank you very much! I have been thinking about Knaphollish history and culture a good bit, in fact… Sounds like lots of fun to create…[Read more]

I’m editing the 41,000 word sequel to my self-published book. And yes, it’s TOUGH. There’s always so much more that needs to be changed than I thought there would be. But like you and @kb-writer pointed out, that’s where you really get to know the story. I find drafting more pleasant most of the time, but I think the hard work of…[Read more]

Guys, I’m sorry I’m so late! There were some technical difficulties that were caused either by (a) dragons meddling in my affairs or (b) me typing my email into the signup incorrectly. 😛
Anyway, I’m glad to be finally here! I’m Jenny, I’m 16, and I have one self-published book, Mercy and her Shield, which is allegorical fantasy. Right now my…[Read more]
