I would say that I accomplished my goal. That always feels good. 🙂 My goal now is still to get a lot of scenes outlined and work through some slow/non-existent parts in my plot…

@emberynus-the-dragonslayer, I write mostly sci-fi/futuristic. But I used to write historical fiction a lot. It’s great that you write mysteries; I tried that once, failed miserably, and decided I wasn’t cut out for it, lol. 😀

@faith_blum Writing has been going pretty well actually. 😀 Hoping to make more progress on outlining the scenes in my novel and trying to resist jumping ahead of myself and writing prematurely (currently failing at that last one 😛 ).

@faith_blum (and everyone else) I have it down to 3995 words! I’m still open to suggestions/corrections/edits, but I may not be around much tomorrow to implement them, so the sooner the better!

I agree with, KatherineH; the guilds just feel too big to form a tight-knit community. It’s hard to get to know everyone in an online place with so may people.

But that being said, I have really enjoyed the guild so far and the guild/word wars have stretched me as a writer. But your suggestion is also good. Have you all considered…[Read more]

@faith_blum I feel like in a way, the guilds are too big. In other words, it’s hard to have a tight-knit community because it’s not small enough to be tight knit. Maybe if guilds were smaller (had less than ten people?), there could be more…[Read more]
