Definitely an introvert π I love the thought of this being from an extrovert to an introvert. What a uniquely beautiful perspective! ❤️

You’re never too late to be an encouragement! I can’t tell you how much your comment means to me. I’m feeling tears in my eyes.
I don’t know you, but you’re an Ember – and that makes you family. I’m going to add you to my prayer list. Be kind to yourself, okay? π

Why do you hide so often?
Are you shy?
You glow too brightly for that.
You look lonely.
You also look whole.
How do you manage that?
I want to understand you,
but you keep a part of yourself

*takes a deep breath* Story time, people. *flops facedown on the nearest surface* Guys, I need help. It’s the first day of NaNo, and I accidentally had to work 8 hours today. (Literally, I was asked to stay 3+ hours longer while I was counting down the last half-hour.) In the last week I’ve had to completely switch project ideas for NaNo. The…[Read more]

This text is black.
βLike my soul,β says my generation,
stringing up skeletons and spiderwebs
and painting their walls and wardrobes
to match. I watch
the murky words fade into dull ears,
and the reality of […]

Wow! This poem has such a surge of senses! I love how you are able to take the disquiet descriptions of black in the beginning and slowly turn it toward your hopeful conclusion.

You wrote this is a way that I could relate to so well. I especially loved the second to last line. Throughout all of this piece, there was beauty infused in your lines and a sense of deep meaning – which came out nicely in the ending.

Sorry, I said line when I meant stanza. I loved the second to last stanza. π

After reading this poem, Iβve decided that the moon is an introvertβand probably an INFJ. 😉 This sounds like what Iβd imagine an extrovert thinking when they look at an introvert. Youβve captured lifeβs beauty yet again, Cindy! 💜
Definitely an introvert π I love the thought of this being from an extrovert to an introvert. What a uniquely beautiful perspective! ❤️
I just want to reiterate what Brianna saidβthis poem is just 😍😍😍. I know I always say I love your poetry, but I particularly like this one because I identify with it so well. Iβve always wondered how other people (specifically extroverts 😉) see me, especially since Iβm so quiet and reserved. Sometimes I wonder if I should try to act more extroverted and talkative, but youβve helped me to see there is beauty in the most introverted souls too. 🤗
Thank you for writing this, dear Cindy!
Oh, my dear, there is so much beauty in introverted souls. How could there not be? You glow too brightly for that. ❤️
*Steals this poem away and stares at it in a dark corner*
How’s the dark corner?
(❤️)
^^^^^^ What Daeus said.
So. Much. Beauty. I can’t handle it all.
*grins and hugs you* ❤️
Ohhh, this is so sweet!!!
I can’t find the words to express what I felt while I read your poem, so I’m just going to give it lots of big hearts.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Aww. Thanks, Eden ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Crazy awesome. You leave me with no words but those.
You are too sweet. π
I second @libby!!!
There is no way I could say how awesome this is! SO awesome!
Aww, thanks for reading and making me smile!
This spoke to my soul. <3
And that touches my heart deeply. ❤️
*tries not to cry* It’s sooooo perfect, Cindy! *cries* <3
*cries because you’re crying* ❤️
Beautiful depiction of the moon. The way your broke of the sentences in each line gave it a thoughtful, far-off feel. The conclusion you reached was beautiful. Another gorgeous poem.
Now it needs to be night again so I can read it under the moon while listening to soft music. π
*melts* I love how beautifully thoughtful your comments are. Thank you so much π And oh yes. Do that. Experiences like that leave your heart too full for words.
*takes many deep breaths*
why are you so good at poeting
*attempts to take similar deep breaths* and how are you so good at humaning
@cindy *takes more deep breaths* if I am good at humaning it is in part because you are good at poeting and you deserve lots of good humaning to come your way
xD But seriously, well done. I really enjoy reading your poetry. (:
Thank you for sharing another one of your masterpieces with us Cindy! π <3 <3
*smiles wide* I’m glad you liked it. π
Really enjoyed your poem Cindy. Good job. *happy face as I give you a double thumbs up*
*even happier face at the double thumbs up* Thank you, Sarah! π
