@bama-rose, I prefer acrylics. I’ve messed around with watercolors and oils a little bit, but acrylics has become my favorite. 🙂

Haha! That’s hilarious. 😉 Yeah, now that I think about it, I do like some very, VERY light dark chocolates…like if they have caramel in the middle or something. But the darker stuff just sets my teeth on edge. 😬
Glad you like it…but thanks for sticking with milk chocolate. It’s the best after all! 😜

@bama-rose, You’re welcome! Sorry I haven’t found time to finish going through it yet. 😛 Life’s been a little crazy lately. But I’m hoping to get back to it soon. 🙂
I know how hard it can be to put a story you love out there and have people point out the ways you need to change it. 😛 So thank you for being brave enough let us read and critique…[Read more]

@bama-rose, Yeah, I really like lions too. So I draw them quite a bit as well. 🙂
That’s cool that your mom likes to paint. What kind of painting does she do?

(Sorry! I haven’t been on much lately and totally forgot about this. Oops.)
David felt radiating warmth around him as he was tugged steadily into the light by an unseen hand. His arms and legs tingled strangely, almost with an electronic feel. He stumbled out of the light and suddenly before him lay an entirely different landscape. He now st…[Read more]

@bama-rose Vanity Presses are little different from self-publishing, say on Kindle Direct, because they charge the author to do things editing or making cover or digital files for ebooks or printing the book. They don’t, as far as I’m aware, make money from selling the actual book, so what is their incentive for the author to sell copies? I have…[Read more]

Saxon Scribe, ahoy!
I’m rubbing my hands that I get to tell you about Sanderson’s third law today. Brandon Sanderson is, of course, a famous fantasy author and he developed three laws for how to develop magic systems. You may enjoy reading all his three laws, but today we’re going to focus on law #3 because it applies to spec-fic writers and…[Read more]

Hi, @bama-rose!
I am not published, but that’s my goal! I think it’s great if you are taking a serious look at writing. It really is a lot of fun and hard work : )
Well, I would say that it really is a personal choice to go self-published or traditional. I want to be traditionally published because I hope, (okay, dream!) of having a career. Both…[Read more]

This is a nested thread:
So instead of them all being straight down, they’re nested with each other, each one getting further indented. (This is the continuation of a conversation on cold weather, lol.)

Yeah, I realize that now. 😛 I should have thought a little more before I said anything. Because I agree with you and I think if it would help make thinks easier, it should totally happen.
You aren’t copying…you are agreeing. 😉

A nested comment is a comment that’s basically indented under the post it’s a response to. A nested thread looks like an inverted staircase.

Hey guys,
The other guild masters and I have been talking about the guilds and we thought we might be able to improve them with a few minor changes. I would really love your opinion on these. We’re not planning on any of these yet, just toying with the ideas, but if you really like them we might roll them out.
Here they are:
