Hey guys! In case you don’t remember me, I’m Jess. I’m actually your guildmaster, and I’m not dead!
First up, full apologies. A fair few major life things happened, and I was overwhelmed and basically shut myself in my room and just cried while trying to keep on top of things for basically a month. On that, prayer for dealing with deadlines and…[Read more]

Yeah. I’m not a fan of the Boom version of Knuckles either, classic Knuckles is the best. And I was saddened by the fact that characters like Julie-Su and Sally Acorn weren’t going to be in the IDW series as well, but so far I’m liking what Ian Flynn is doing with Sonic in the IDW comics. There are plenty of new characters that are…[Read more]

Knuckles is my favorite character from the Archie series while Julie-Su (Knuckles’ love interest) is a close second. It is a bit sad that the Archie Comics got canceled but I’m glad IDW is now publishing the Sonic comics. I’m also glad that they kept Ian Flynn as the writer (I’m almost to the Ian Flynn stories in the Archie series)…[Read more]

Hmmm. I sent you a NaNoMail as follows:ย Hi April!
Just checking to see if this is you. I’m Jess/ J.A.Penrose, your guildmaster from Story Embers. Just wanted to make sure this is you. Also, before I am able to invite you into the cabin, you’ll have to make a project, and change the cabin settings to ‘I don’t want to be included in…

@april-j-rhys
I’d love to invite you to the cabin. But I can’t actually do it until you’ve made a project. *facepalm* If you can let me know when you’ve done that, that would be awesome! (you’re also able to edit your project’s title and word count and whatnot up until the 20th of July, so it doesn’t matter too much. xD) -

Hello to a fellow Sonic the Hedgehog fan! I love the StH comics and am currently going through the Archie series (on issue 145 right now). It’s nice to meet you. ๐
I found Story Embers while researching worldbuilding for my current WIP and was thrilled to find I was on a Christian writers website.

@elisha-starquill @april-j-rhys Hello! I’m posting this to let you know that I’ve finished editing the first book of the Chronicles of Origin, Ashen Blaze. If either of you are able to beta-read, please let me know and I’ll send you a link to the doc. ๐

That’s great news! Send me the link! ๐

YES!. *fistpumps* Thank you so much for letting me know, Ariella! So, I have already promised I’d do two other stories first. *wince* BUT they are short. Ish. So, I WILL get back to you on this asap. ๐

Sure, definitely! ๐ I’m still only on the third chapter though–ran into some scheduling turbulence so to speak. Can’t wait to read more though. I left several comments on the doc…did those come through?

Guys, I’m so proud of you!
It was really nice to come back from a week of injections, hospital trips, conferences, and essays (legit. @april-j-rhys – That sounds like such a blessing! I’ll have to go check out One Year Adventure Novel.
