      Do you still need the Harry Potter character descriptions? I forgot all about those, sorry.

      What I know in my head and what I believe in my heart are two entirely different things.

        “All right, I’ve cast protection and concealment spells over this entire area,” Hermione approached the group, dusting her hands off. “That should keep Macha away, for now.”

        “Good,” Ahsoka said, and then looked around the room. “I need some volunteers. If we’re going to get out of this castle, we need to scout it out.”

        Two clones stepped forward, followed by Harry.

        “Are you sure you want to go, Harry? You have to keep up with the clones, and stay out of sight.”

        “I can be quick, and hiding won’t be a problem,” Harry said with a grin. “I have an invisibility cloak.” He shoved his hand into his Hogwarts robes and pulled out… nothing.

        “Very funny, kid,” one of the clones commented dryly. Harry shot him a look and then threw the ‘nothing’ over his shoulders.

        His body immediately vanished.

        Those not familiar with the magic jumped back in surprise. Ron laughed at the startled reaction of the clones. Harry just smiled and pulled his hood up, disguising his floating head.

        “Let’s go,” he said, voice trailing to the door. Two dazed clones followed after him.

        Hermione stepped forward. “I know you mean well, Ahsoka,” Hermione started hesitantly. “But I… I really don’t think we can get out of here.”

        Ahsoka knelt down and touched Hermione’s shoulder.

        “Don’t lose hope. There’s always a way,” Ahsoka said. Hermione shook her head.

        “It’s not that, it’s just, well… I don’t know,” Hermione scrunched her face at the lack of words.
        “I just think we should focus more on defeating Macha than getting ourselves out. We don’t want to release her on the inhabitants of this country, do we?”

        Ahsoka studied the ground and nodded. “There are many options, and I’m not sure which is best. Let’s wait until our scouts return, and then we’ll decide.”

        What I know in my head and what I believe in my heart are two entirely different things.

          Yes! Thank you! That would help a bunch 😉 And I’m so sorry if I misrepresented them! Btw, you’re really good with Ahsoka and the Clones! I loved that bit with Harry’s cloak, LOL 😀

          AHSOKA TANO and REX

          “There are many options, and I’m not sure which is best. Let’s wait until our scouts return, and then we’ll decide.” I look up at Hermione and smile. I’m thankful for her insight; I forget too often that there is more than one side to every problem. She is wise for her age and I am thankful that she is here.

          Standing up again, I look around. There are at least fifty clones, aside from the three in the sick-bay and Rex. Combined with these strange force-users, we make a strong little army. I cross my arms and smile. Anakin would be proud. Now I, Commander Tano, just have to figure out what to do next.

          Suddenly, the door opens behind us, and Rex limps in, leaning on another clone.

          “I heard you sent Drep and Shorty out, along with an invisible kid,” he grunts as the clone helps him into a chair. “You really think there’s a way out of here?”

          Giving Hermione a knowing look, I say, “Rex, you should know by now that there is always a way out — especially with me involved.”

          Raising an eyebrow, he chuckles and shakes his head “Well, the others in there are feeling better, and the girl is awake. We should be ready to move out in about half an hour.” He turns to Hagrid, Janner, and Leeli and nods in greeting. “Name’s Rex. You did well back there.”

          They introduce themselves, and Traps comes over and hands Rex a plate of food. I thoughtfully chew a meat and cheese sandwich Ron gave me; it seems like he and Kalmar made up several dozens of them, the rascals. As I absentmindedly observe my friends, my thoughts run wild — but they always return to our strange predicament.

          “I seriously don’t know what this is all about,” I wonder aloud as I use the Force to grab a hard, reddish fruit (an apple) from the table.

          “What is all about?” Leeli asks.

          “How we all got here. It’s uncanny.”

          Hermione nods. “A strange type of magic, it seems.”

          “Certainly not like anything I’ve ever see before,” Janner comments, and Rex and a few other clones nod in agreement.

          “No Sith has this kind of power,” I snort. Well, not any that I know of, anyhow. I hate not knowing what is going on, and no matter how much I try to push the thoughts out of my mind, they always come back. Finally, I look around at them and sigh, tossing the core of my fruit into a wastebasket.

          “I’m going out after Harry and the clones. I’ll be back soon.” I just can’t keep standing around without doing anything; without being in on the action; without helping. I quickly open the door and head down the hall before they can protest, clasping my lightsabers in my hands.

          ****************************************************************************************************

          Ok, I have a few Fun Facts: Ahsoka might actually be the same age as Rex, or slightly older, because the clones age so much faster!

          And, Kylie, you might find this interesting, but the older version of Rex in STAR WARS Rebels looks exactly like Podo (the Wingfeather children’s grandfather)!

            Actually, I thought you did pretty well writing them.  That may be part of the reason it slipped my mind.

            Thanks! After watching all seven seasons of the Clone Wars and all four of Rebels last year I can’t but try to do the characters justice. 😉

            ~~~~~
            Hermione: prim and proper, very logical and common-sense, intelligent, devoted to her friends. Bushy brown hair, brown eyes, large front teeth. ISTJ
            Hagrid: Friendly, soft-hearted, warm, strong. Half-giant, shaggy brown beard and hair, dark eyes. ISFP
            Harry: brave, loyal, impulsive, competitive. Untidy dark hair, green eyes, lightning shaped scar on forehead, round glasses. ISFP
            Ron: courageous, optimistic, humorous/witty, immature at times. Flaming red hair, freckles, blue eyes, ESFP
            (Some of these are more closely aligned with book descriptions than movie appearances.)
            P. S. Those are some great fun facts and I just googled it and found out that Ahsoka is FIVE years older than Rex. 😂
                You watched all of them?! Awesome!!! I haven’t seen all of Clone Wars — I’ve just been skipping from episode to episode and season to season, LOL — and only the first 4 episodes of Rebels.
                And thank you for the descriptions!! Is it just me or does it seem like Harry, Hermione, Hagrid, and Ron all complement each other nicely?
                And FIVE years older? Whoa! That means Rex is really like 10 years old or something, XD I suppose the clones just mature faster, too.
                Hey! Weren’t you on the Wingfeather Saga forum once so long ago? Welcome! 😀 You can most certainly join; just put up a description of your character! It can be one of your own, or one from a book/show/movie, whatever!
                Oh, and you’re not intruding at all!
                    Have any of you guys read The Ashtown Burials, by N. D. Wilson? It’s really good.
                    ~~~

                    Name – Rupert Greeves

                    Age – I’m not sure. . . late 30s maybe?

                    Book Series / Movie – The Ashtown Burials by N. D. Wilson

                    Appearance – tall black man, short beard, hair shaved close to his scalp, sharp dark eyes.

                    Rupe is fiercely loyal. considers all of the other members of the Order of Brendan his siblings. If there’s a way that he can save any of them, he will, even to the point of death. He can speak multiple languages (the books aren’t specific which ones though), and his main weapons are guns, though I’m pretty sure he sometimes uses knives as well. He keeps the best interests of the O of B at heart, and will hunt down and destroy anyone he deems to be a threat to it.

                    Rupert has had a lot of losses in his life, including those of his parents and older brother when he was a child, and his best friend after he grew up. He is a member of the Order of Brendan (O of B), ranking as Keeper. The two teens in his care are Cyrus and Antigone Smith, the daughter and youngest son of Lawrence. Rupe’s role in the O of B is Avengel / Blood Avenger.

                    ((“I am the Avenger of Blood! Where my brothers fall, there I will be. Where my sisters stumble, there you will find me. My road is paved with shadow, and my bed is made of pain. I am the Keeper of unmarked graves and forgotten tombs. I am the point of Brendan’s spear and the hunter of Brendan’s enemies, wherever they may be. So I have sworn, so it has been, so it shall be, until death bend me and the ground take me.” – Rupert Greeves))

                    _____________________________________________________________________________________

                    “The Art of War, by Sun Tzu!” Rupert shouted back over his shoulder at Cyrus, who was hurrying through the trees to keep up. “I told you to read it a year ago.”

                    “Well, yeah,” Cy admitted, “and I even started the first few pages. But it was really boring. . .”

                    Rupe snorted, and shook his head. Every time that stubbornness emerged, he was amazed anew how much the boy was like his father. He stepped over a tree root. . . and felt a sudden wave of dizziness. He stopped, and blinked, shaking his head in an attempt to clear it.

                    It didn’t work.

                    Rupert felt a rush of wind, and then his eyes flew open — and while he was vaguely aware that he couldn’t remember ever closing them, he hardly paid attention to that detail.

                    He wasn’t in the forest heading down to the shore anymore. No, he was in a dimly-lit stone room, with strange tapestries and paintings on the walls.

                    Rupert stood still, blinking rapidly, trying to process what had just happened.

                    “What in the. . .” he stopped himself. He glanced around his surroundings, eyes narrowing suspiciously. It was then that he noticed his guns — a holstered revolver strapped to each thigh.

                    And he was 99% sure that those hadn’t been there before.

                    “Witchcraft,” Rupe muttered darkly under his breath. His expression grew still more stormy as a new thought occurred to him. “Or the Ordo Draconis.”

                    Keeping his hands near the guns’ frames, Rupert stole out of the room, and into a long corridor.

                    He wasn’t going to get out of here by standing around in some room.

                      Rupert sounds awesome! I can’t wait to see him interact with everyone else. Does he like kids other than the ones he’s supposed to protect? Because most of the PoV characters here are teens or younger…

                      Have you seen/read all of the stories included in this roleplay so far?

                        @winter_rose Rupert seems to like kids for the most part. Most of the characters in The Ashtown Burials are on the younger side of things, so I don’t think that will be a problem. The Order of Brendan is very serious about “no magic whatsoever” so it should be interesting to play around with Rupe’s reaction to the Harry Potter characters.

                        As for your second question, I’ve read The Wingfeather Saga, the first two Harry Potter books (Fang is Hagrid’s three-headed dog, right? Or is this dog a different one of his pets?), and am currently watching The Clone Wars (I just started Season 2, so I know who Ahsoka and Rex are), and I think the other two kids (whose names seem to have slipped my mind) are from our normal world. (Please correct me if I’m wrong!)

                          What kind of magic exists in the Ashtown Burials? Because the Harry Potter magic is called ‘witchcraft’, but is far from it. And I wonder what Rupert will think of the Force…

                          Fang is a (mostly) normal dog but he’s pretty big. Fluffy is the one you’re thinking of.

                          Yep, Amberly and Emberyn are from a contemporary story.

                          What I know in my head and what I believe in my heart are two entirely different things.

                          @rebekah12

                            @winter_rose

                            In The Ashtown Burials all magic is treated as evil. Lawrence’s older sister Hyacinth was labeled a witch as a child because she was born with a gift to life out of dead things, and opened forbidden Ways (portals though trees and stuff) as she was trying to escape a real witch. The Order never found her, but it was decided that if she ever showed her face again she would be executed. (N. D. Wilson’s trilogy The Hundred Cupboards is actually about her son Henry)

                            All in all, The Ashtown Burials doesn’t really have a ton of magic. One of the villains, Radu Bey, last of the Dracul Gin, leader of the Ordo Draconis, uses it to some extent, I think. Arachne (one of the two non-villain transmortals) also weaves different kinds of enchantments (or something like them) into her spider silk. There are a few magic relics, but the only one really of any consequence is the Dragon’s Tooth, a mere shard of the actual tooth. Whoever is holding it is immortal, and it is the one thing that can kill the immortal and transmortaled (mortals that became immortal).

                            *thinks hard* I think that’s it. . .

                            Does that make sense?

                                I haven’t read The Ashtown Burials yet, but they are now in my mental book list 😉 I looked them up, and ooooo!

                                Also, that is the type of magic I’m interested in! Thanks for explaining!

                                AHSOKA TANO

                                My footsteps echo faintly off of the smooth marble floor, so shiny that I can almost see my reflection in it. I divert my eyes from the  tapestries on the walls, intent on not being distracted; but I do keep an eye out for any opening such as a vent or sky-light. I noticed beforehand that the ceiling is painted in faded frescos* depicting dancing people, frolicking beasts, and wild plants, which I found rather interesting and odd. Why paint this many ceilings? Taking note of everything, I feel that the air is slightly humid and that there is no draft whatsoever. It also smells sort of old and musty, eww . . .

                                I hum a jaunty shanty Anakin taught me, twirling my lightsaber hilts in my hands as boredom starts to take over my excitement. Every corridor is the same and I’ve been jogging for a while. . . Stopping at an intersection of three corridors, I tilt my head and listen for Harry and the clones. I can sense their presence not too far off, and continue on, bobbing my head to the tune. This is boring . . . As I go, however, I can’t help but notice that there are hardly any doors in the walls. It really is all the same. It’s just like the corridors keep weaving and turning and sprawling all over in odd directions with no apparent order at all. . . .

                                I pause, shocked. Then a frighting thought flashes across my mind:

                                Is this a labyrinth???

                                “Uggg!” I smack my forehead with a balled fist. “Seriously, Snips? You just walked right into this, didn’t you?” I throw my arms out in exasperation and moan. “Well, should I go back to warn the others, or find Harry before they get deeper into this mess?” I ask myself.

                                But can I even find my way back?

                                I clutch my lightsabers even tighter and look about as if the walls might shift on me. Taking a deep breath, I push out with the Force, and I can sense, a far ways back, the others. Good. Harry, Drep, and Shorty are not to far away, either, and —

                                My closed eyes flash open. I sense another presence. Immediately, I bolt down the corridor, fingers poised on the buttons to my blades. Again, I feel the rush of adrenaline, and it feels good. Flying around a corner, I nearly collide into the chest of a tall, dark-skinned man. Leaping backwards, I take on my battle-stance and prepare to click the buttons.

                                “Who are you?” I ask darkly.

                                *************************************************************************************************

                                  You’re welcome! The Ashtown Burials is my favorite book series. I recommend you read The Hundred Cupboards at somep point as well, as I have reason to believe that the final book of The Ashtown Burials will incorporate 100 Cupboards characters in some way.

                                  Rupert started back when a humanoid-girl-thing nearly barrelled into him from… somewhere… and in moments his guns were in his hands. He made a mental note not to waste a single bullet, as it seemed highly unlikely that he would be able to find cartridges with which to reload his revolvers here.

                                  The girl leaped backwards too, and Rupe noted that she held a metal cylinder in each hand. Likely some kind of weapon, though what on earth they could do, he wasn’t sure.

                                  “Who are you?” the girl asked darkly, without a hint of fear in her voice.

                                  Rupert trained both of his revolvers on her, fingers ready at their triggers, but did not fire. “I could ask you the same thing.”

                                  An idea struck him, and he paused, then slowly lowered his guns. “Does the term ‘Avengel’ mean anything to you?” he asked her tentatively.

                                  She didn’t seem like an adult, if her voice was any indication, and  perhaps her answer would be able to help him figure out whether she was friend or foe.
