Ohhhh! Thank you! That helps 😉
Oooo, your characters sound interesting, especially Amberley!! I’ve never seen that movie…. I’ll have to check it out….
Oh, and I hope y’all don’t mind my improvising here! 😛
AHSOKA TANO
I smile at Ron and Hermione. They tease each other just like Anakin and me — but at that thought my smile disappears. My strong-willed master could be getting into trouble too deep for him. But why am I worried? He can fend for himself, and Obi-Wan is there. I just feel like I should be with him…. Ahsoka, he’s your master, not the other way around!
I look straight ahead and focus on the mission at hand. Find an exit. Get out of here. Find the others. And keep these new friends safe. I know now that at least Hermione and Ron are not evil, and for that I am grateful. Then I realize something.
Ron.
I whirl around and instinctively put a hand on one of my lightsaber hilts, not believing it.
“Come on!” I say to Hermione, “he must have taken a detour!”
What is wrong with that boy?
Hermione sighs as I walk quickly back down the hall, stopping to listen at each door, most of which had been locked when I tried the knobs before.
Then Hermione clears her throat and chuckles. “If there’s a kitchen, that’s where he is.” She sniffs the air and points a finger toward a large double door. “He should be there; I’m one hundred percent sure.”
I squint at it. If I remember right, those huge doors were never there before. Hmmm… I really need to pay attention; I’m turning into Anakin! I hurry over and gently edge the dark, heavy wood open a crack. A savory aroma rushes through the gap with a burst of warm air, and I can’t help but sigh at its sweetness. I hear Hermione sigh happily behind me. Then I manage to angle my head so I can get a look inside the crack.
It is filled with clones, and I am so surprised I almost unceremoniously stumble into the room. They are sitting at long tables spooning up soup and chatting among themselves. I get a glimpse of Ron perched on the end of a bench, tearing chunks off a piece of bread and conversing pleasantly with the clone next to him.
I turn to Hermione with a bewildered expression. “Its full of clones.”
She gives me a funny look, and I take a step back so she can take a peep.
“Well, now we can get some proper info!” I say. Hermione grins and opens the door. The heat from the room instantly blows over us like a wave as we step inside. But the clones don’t wave and greet us like usual. They look up from their meal and stare, their eyes moving from Hermione to me. My throat tightens. Then, the one nearest us stands up. His black hair is closely cropped and he has a blue circle tattooed on his cheek*.
I watch his eyes as they settle on my lightsabers. My body stiffens. Is something wrong?
***************************************************************************************************
*I just made this clone up on the spot; he’s not one from Clone Wars or anything 😉
Ok, so I don’t know if these clones should be from after Order 66 when they all turn against the Jedi, or before. If they are good still, it might be fun to have a whole troop with us, LOL, or these could be our first adversaries.
And, if y’all don’t like this idea at all, we just ignore this post, which I would totally be ok with 😉 It was only the first idea that came to my mind anyway, ha ha.

I’d kind of prefer before Order 66, but in that case we’ll need some other sort of villain soon. Kylie suggested Macha, the Owl Witch from Irish mythology, so maybe we could bring her in.
(P. S. (for Kylie) I have to go now but either Wing or I can explain what Order 66 and clones are.)

January 28, 2021 at 2:26 pm #124371Macha sounds SUPER cool (I looked her up, ha ha), but could you explain what exactly she does and her powers, just so I know how to write her better?
OK! Clones before Order 66 = AWESOME! Can I fangirl a bit here? 😛
I LOVE THE CLONES. They are the real heroes of The Clone Wars, not the Jedi. The Clones gave their all. They overcame their similarities, loved each other, and served the Jedi faithfully to the death. And three even successfully removed the chips from their heads that would otherwise have erased their memories and forced them to turn on the Jedi.
Ok, I’m done 😉 Now for Order 66…
Order 66 was what Sheev Palpatine (aka. The Chancellor; Darth Sidious; The Emperor….) called his plan to kill off most of the Jedi. The clones, soldiers cloned from Jango Fett (a Mandalorian bounty hunter) and mutated to grow quickly, were secretly commissioned by Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas. The clones helped the Jedi fight against Count Dooku and the Separatists during what was called The Clone Wars. But Palpatine had chips secretly put into the clones, which, when activated, erased their memories and forced them to turn on the Jedi and were later used by Darth Vader. So, the clones which we are using here are the clones from before Order 66, therefore they are our friends. 😀
Ok, that was long…. anyway, hope that helped!

The more emotion she takes the closer her victim comes to being full stone. She sends her owls to do her bidding; they can use the glass jars to capture feelings as well.

I totally agree with you about the clones. I think that they’re a little under appreciated sometimes. 😕

January 28, 2021 at 6:07 pm #124375Fine by me if we use the clones. Anyway, gonna introduce Emberyn and Amberley into the story.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amberley was soaring. Up, up, up… and back down.
“Nice one Am!” her brother called, jumping off the fence and running to open it. “Best time yet! Keep this up, and you’ll be ready for every rodeo this side of Dallas!” Amberley grinned at her brother. “Thunder and I are not quite there, yet, but thanks for the complement. I’ll be sure to remember that when we beat you at the finals.” The siblings chuckled, then Amberley clucked to her big, black mustang and trotted to the stables, her twin brother close behind. She unbuckled the seatbelt that kept her in the saddle while Emberyn undid the velcro on the stirrups. Emberyn held out his arms, and Amberley slid into them. He set her in the wheelchair and the siblings headed out of the barn for dinner. Then the dizzy feeling swept over them. “Emberyn, what’s going–AHHH!!!”
oOo
Suddenly they were in a stone room covered in tapestries, and a fire crackling in a hearth.
“W-w-w-where are we?” asked Amberley.
January 28, 2021 at 8:48 pm #124385HARRY POTTER
“Hagrid, who exactly do you suppose Ahsoka is?” Harry asked his large friend as they walked down the hall. “She talks about a war, but the last wizard war happened before I was born. And…” He paused uncomfortably. “And I’m not sure she’s quite human, either.”
“Well, ‘Arry, there’re a great many strange things I’ve encountered, and there’s always a perfectly logical explaination for it. ‘Course, I’ve never been the one to fig’ur it out.”
“Whoever Ahsoka is, she seems to be on our side,” Janner said.
“For now,” Harry muttered in an undertone. Leeli gave him a disapproving glance. Harry shrugged sheepishly.
“Wait,” Janner stuck a hand out, halting the group. “I thought I heard something.”
“W…where are we?” A shaky girl’s voice asked from behind a muted green door.
“I’m not sure, Am,” a boy’s voice responded. “It looks like some sort of a… castle.”“Hello?” Janner called softly.
“Who’s there?” The boy called out. A moment later the door swung open, revealing two kids about Janner’s and Harry’s ages. “Who are you?” The boy repeated.
The four introduced themselves.
“What are your names?” Janner asked.
“My brother’s Emberyn. I’m Amberly,” The girl said from her place seated in a wheelchair. Leeli, adjusting her crutch, met Amberly’s wide brown eyes. The two girls smiled at each other.-
January 28, 2021 at 10:43 pm #124394Hey, I’m going to write from 1st person for Amberley and Emberyn because I need to work on that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EMBERYN’S POV
I wasn’t sure what to think of this. Where were we, who were these people, and why were we here? Amberley probably had many of the same reservations as I did, but she was better at hiding it, which was no surprise. After the surgery when she was seven, and the several months in the hospital after her accident when she was twelve, Am had become a pro when it came to hiding her emotions.
“Do you live here?” Amberley asked, getting straight to the point. “If you do, or you know the person that does, why did you bring us here?” She stared at them, almost glaring. The gold flecks in her eyes seemed to shimmer brighter, and I saw Janner and Leeli’s gaze drawn to them slightly, then they stiffened(1). “No miss Amberley. I reckon we’re just as lost as you are.”
Amberley relaxed slightly, and sighed. “Sticklebats(2). I hoped you might know the way out of here.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(1) Fangs have yellow eyes, and the whole thing takes a little bit too much explaining for a footnote, but Kalmar got turned into a fang at the end of the 2nd book (it will be explained later in this story how he turned back) and while his eyes were yellow he didn’t know who he is, but most of the time his eyes were blue, flecked with yellow, which symbolized the fact he was partly a fang, so I figured it would make them uncomfortable when they realized the Fletcher siblings have gold flecks in their eyes.
(2) Lord of the Rings (movie) easter egg. Bilbo says it when Frodo isn’t there to answer the door for him. Fun Fact: I use this word (it kinda’s a word…I guess) a lot when I’m annoyed.
Anyway, 9:36pm where I am (I know, I know, I really should not be on SE this late, buttt…. I enjoy writing on here) so I need to get off. Wanted to get to Am.’s PoV, but didn’t have enough time.
Bon nuit et au revoir! (I’m learning french, so I thought I’d use a little on here. It means good night and bye.)
Ooo, you are learning French? I’m learning Latin, though I haven’t got very far yet!
AHSOKA TANO
The clone’s eyes grow wide, and then, suddenly, a big smile completely takes over his face.
“‘Soka! Hey, fellas, Ahsoka’s back! How’d it go?” He motions for us to take a seat. Hermione takes one across from me, and the clone — Traps, I remember his name — calls for the cook, then sits down next to me.
“We didn’t know you’d be back so soon,” he says, his tone suddenly gone from joyous to sober. “How many were lost?”
I realize that he thinks we’re back in Coruscant. He doesn’t know. I sigh and wrap my hands around a cup and looks down into its swirling, steaming contents.
“Traps, I don’t know where we are. I got separated from Obi-wan and Anakin. It seems you and the rest of us are all . . . lost.”
His face is blank, and I can tell he is wondering how badly the mission affected me. I know he’s scared for his brothers. I continue, my heart hurting.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t explain it well enough. Just take a peek outside.”
Holding my gaze for several more seconds, Traps slowly rises and walks over to the door. He peers out for a minute, then returns with wide eyes. He grabs his cup from the table, takes several gulps, and then looks around.
“Hey, boys,” he says, “where’s Captain Rex?”
I lean over to talk quietly with Hermione. “They are from Coruscant, and I was at Lola Sayu. I have no idea how this could ever have happened!” I am completely mystified and have no idea how to work it out.
Hermione shakes her head, just as confused as I am. “I have no clue,” she whispers, “unless some black magic is involved.”
“The dark side?”
“Um, sure.”
“I wonder if Dooku is behind this,” I snarl, even though I know it is too great a mystery for him to contrive. Hermione shrugs, examines her drink for a second, and takes a sip.
I hear footsteps behind me and look up at Captain Rex. His blond hair is cropped extremely close to his scalp, and he has a small scar on his chin. Like all the other clones, when his face is relaxed, it looks like he is scowling. But right now he is dead serious.
“Ahsoka, what happened?”
“A lot, Rex, that’s what.”
I explain it the best I can to him, and then he to goes over to the door to see for himself. He turns around then and raises a hand for quiet. The hall is suddenly deathly silent.
“Brothers, we have a small problem. We are not in Coruscant anymore — we’re someplace else. I don’t know where. But stay calm. We can get out of this. We have been through much worse. So, eat all you can, grab your guns, and we’ll get moving.”
I have always admired his calm and steady demeanor, and am thankful for it now more than ever. “Hermione,” I say, “that there is one of the best clones ever made.”
She smiles. “I’m sure of it.”
After we quickly finish eating, I stand with Rex as the clones assemble. I introduce him to Hermione, and he smiles and holds out his hand.
I am beyond thankful to have met up with them, I think as we set out of the hall, searching for we don’t know what.
“Sticklebats,” the girl muttered. “I hoped you might know the way out of here.”
“Sorry, Amberly,” Harry shrugged. “We’re looking for it, too. But I don’t see why we can’t enjoy ourselves while we look.”
“Yes, we’re supposed to explore a little and the meet up with our group,” Leeli said. “Would you like to join us?”
Amberly and Emberyn exchanged glances, and then nodded to the four. Ember gripped Amberly’s wheelchair handles and pushed her out of the room after the others. The wheels caught on the uneven stone floor, and Emberyn panted with effort to keep it moving down the corridor.
“Oh, would you like Hagrid to help?” Harry offered, and Emberyn halted.“Sure, I wouldn’t mind a hand,” He said through gasps.
“Hagrid?” Harry asked.
“Already on it, ‘Arry.”Hagrid immediately lifted Amberly from her wheelchair, drawing a surprised yelp from the girl. A moment later he set her down atop Fang’s wide back and she clutched his coarse fur.
Emberyn looked on nervously and then grinned.
“Just like riding Thunder, right Am?” He called. Amberly smiled and relaxed.“Hey, Leeli,” Amberly called, and the young girl looked up. “Did you want to try my chair? You’re lighter than me, so it shouldn’t be a problem for someone to push you.”
“Oh, yes please! All this walking has tired me out,” Leeli giggled as she sat down in the wheelchair.
Harry took the wheelchair handles and followed after the others down the passage, pushing a delighted Leeli ahead of him.
January 29, 2021 at 10:47 pm #124429Hermione
Hermione reached out and shook Rex’s hand.
“How do you do, sir?” she asked politely. He looked a bit taken aback, but then grinned.
“I’m doing well, but this dilemma we’re in here has me a bit on edge,” he said.
“I felt that way at first, too, but this place is strange,” Hermione said. “This castle itself isn’t bad, but I think… well I think there might be some bad things in it. Some bad things coming,” she added with a shudder.
“It’s good to be cautious,” Rex said. “It keeps you alive. Just don’t let it get you too far down.” He then stepped forward and took lead position in the squad of clone troopers.
Hermione, Ahsoka, Kalmar and Ron fell into the rear position, Ahsoka constantly glancing backward.
“I’m getting a bad feeling,” Ahsoka muttered.
“Me too,” Hermione whispered. Someone ahead called something back to them, and soon the group of clones and the four kids were filed into a large library. Long shelves extended far back into the room, which was lit by a gigantic dome-like skylight overhead. Stacks of stray books littered the room. A stone sculpture of a beautiful woman, clothed in a dress of feathers, and with an owl sitting at her feet, dominated the center of the library.
Hermione squealed and rushed to the nearest shelf. She grabbed a book, rapidly skimmed the pages, and dashed to another shelf. After observing a dozen different books in this fashion she returned to Ahsoka, who stood with Rex in the center of the room.
“Some of these books I’ve seen or known about before, but others are completely foreign, and in languages I’ve never even heard of,” she reported.
“The galaxy is a big place. It’d be impossible to learn every language in it,” Rex said.
Hermione opened her mouth to respond, and then a deeply confused look crossed her face and she shuffled away.
Suddenly a great wind rose from behind her. Hermione whipped around to see loose papers and feathers swirling around the stone statue. Through the vortex of wind the wings of the stone owl’s wings seemed to flutter. A burst of bright light was scattered by the whirlwind, and the storm increased in speed. Ahsoka crouched, the clones readied their weapons, and Hermione shielded her eyes from the howling wind and the blinding light.
And then it stopped.
At first, in the hazy settling of the dust, nothing seemed to have changed. The papers were scattered, of course, and odd feather quills lay about, but other than that…
Wait.
The statue.
It had moved.
An old, hunched woman, wrapped in a shawl, stood in the place of the stone image. Two owls perched on her shoulders, another on her head, and two wandered about her feet. Wild grey hair floated around her head, as if large, ragged wings. She turned and surveyed those present in the room with piercing, bird-like eyes, and a thin, cold smile pulled at her lips.
“Greetings, children.”
I hope Macha’s introduction does her justice. 😉
AMBERLEY’S POV
I grinned as I rode along on Fang. Emberyn was right, it was similar to riding Thunder. Leeli eyes had lit up when I said she could ride in my ‘chair, and she was bouncing slightly as her brother pushed her along. “So,” I said, adjusting my grip on Fang. “Who’s the rest of your group?”
Janner and Harry looked up from the conversation they had been having with Emberyn.
“There’s our brother Kalmar.” Janner said. “And there’s my friends Ron and Hermione.” Harry continued. “And there’s Ahsoka.” Hagrid finished.
“Ahsoka?” Emberyn asked. “Who’s she?”
We exchanged a glance. Ahsoka’s name sounded familiar. ‘Well,’ I reminded myself. ‘All of their names sound slightly familiar.’
January 30, 2021 at 1:06 pm #124438JANNER’S POV
Janner was curious about these newcomers. They had to be twins, with that wavy dark hair and brown eyes that were flecked with gold. Flecked with gold, almost like Kal’s when he was a fang. He sighed, then smiled to see Leeli and Amberley chatting away. It was nice for Leeli to talk to someone who had a similar disability. But still, that tiny little voice in his head persisted. Their eyes. Janner pushed the voice to the back of his mind. As far as he was concerned, Amberley and Emberyn were perfectly nice people, and it wasn’t any fault of their own that their eyes happened to be flecked with gold.
oOo
KALMAR’S POV
Kalmar stared at the old woman. Her owlish eyes landed on him, and he reached for his sword. No way on Aerwiar could this person not have bad intentions for him and his friends. They needed to warn the rest, but how could they get past her? Then Kalmar had an idea. He murmured in a low voice “Get to the door. Warn the others.” He shot a glance at Owl-Lady and continued. “I’ll distract her.”
The others nodded, and Kalmar set his plan into action. He stepped forward and raised his sword. “Who are you?” He asked, making his tone as menacing as possible.
Owl-Lady laughed. “Do you not know who I am, child? I am the Owl Witch of Ireland. The Soul-Taker.”
She obviously meant for him to be frightened, but Kalmar had seen scarier things than this.
“I have never heard of you, and I’m not scared. Now go.”
She laughed again. “Who are you child, who dares to stand up to Macha?”
“My name is Kalmar Wingfeather, High King of Anniera. I have walked the Fane of Fire, sailed the Dark Sea of Darkness, and battled Gnag the Nameless himself, and I will fear no owl witch. Again, go.”
Macha’s smile faded as she realized she couldn’t scare Kalmar, and she sneered. “You will suffer for that insolent speech, Kalmar.” She rose up and a light began to swirl.
“RUN!!!” Kalmar screamed, as he followed his own words and dashed for the door. Hermione, Ron, Ahsoka, Kalmar, and the clones pelted down the hall.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So how was that? Also, I finally watched the first Star Wars movie! It’s awesome!

January 30, 2021 at 1:09 pm #124439Macha is going to be worthy of our villain; I see it already!!!! This is going to be so good!
Wait, your characters are from our world…. so they have seen these movies and read these books! That’s awesome!!
And yes, A New Hope is amazing!!! Just wait till you see The Empire Strikes Back! It’s AWESOME!!
Also, guys, I totally forgot that Ron and Kalmar were with Ahsoka and Hermione, so I didn’t talk about them! I’m so sorry!
AHSOKA TANO
We had been walking along — actually quite happy despite the circumstances. Maybe it was just to ward off the fear and uneasiness, but whatever the case, it had worked. The clones were chatting in spite of themselves, Hermione was conversing with Rex, and Kalmar and Ron were joking around together like old buddies:
“So… you carry a stick in place of a sword?”
“It’s a million times better than a sword, I’ll have you know.”
“For kebabs, you mean?”
I had shaken my head and laughed. I like them a lot, and hopefully they will continue to stay positive for the rest of us — especially after what just happened. It is so strange, the way the mood went from joyful to dread in a matter of seconds. You can feel it in the air, tingling on your skin. I narrow my eyes. What now?
The statue I had been staring at with a weird feeling in my gut had transformed, in a great show of power, into an owl-like old woman; who despite her shortness, seemed rather intimidating — especially when her old, but clear voice said, “greetings, children.”
The clones are shocked, but then they draw their blasters and hold them at the ready as Rex whipps out his two hand-blasters. My light-sabers are already ignited and I take up my battle stance with a snarl. Ron and Kalmar drop the big cook-book they were examining and have their weapons at the ready, as does Hermione. Then, from behind us we hear a voice say:
“Who’s she?”
Ron darts off to warn the others as Rex barks “get back!”
Then Kalmar steps forward before I can react, and confronts the strange little lady with a bravery I didn’t expect. And then it starts to storm.
“RUN!” he shouts, and we run.
“Go go go!” I scream as the clones stampede out of the room. I get a glance of Hagrid and his beast, and two others I didn’t meet before as they rush away. I turn around.
“Ahsoka, go!”
It’s Rex.
“No,” I snarl, “I have to get her. We must bring her back for interrogation!”
But Rex doesn’t respond. He is clutching his head and groaning.
“Rex!”
Now I move, dragging him along with us down the hall, fear building in my chest. What new dark force is this?
