      Hey everyone! So my WIP is a fantasy about a princess named Eliana who’s given a necklace that was poisoned by her uncle who is trying to steal the crown. The princess finds out that if she takes the necklace off then she loses her youth, beauty, then finally-her life.

      Soon after she finds this out, the jewels get stolen and her friends must go on an adventure to recover them.

      Right now I’m sorta stuck. Her friends are in a forest trying to find the last jewel which is hidden inside a tree near a witch’s cottage. A peasant, named Ivy also lives in this cottage, and she helps them find the jewel. Ivy has to go with them because she plays an important part later in the story, but I can’t figure out how she ends up going with them. I know why she does, she wants to escape her life as a peasant, but I can’t figure out how she leaves. They just met, so it can’t be like a simple “hey, can I tag along?” type of thing. Ideas?

        @erynne – Hi Erynne! Your WIP sounds awesome! 😀

        What if Ivy offers her assistance to find the jewel, but only at a price? The price being something the princess could offer that would give Ivy a chance at becoming more than a peasant, like bringing her along to an important city or a letter of introduction or…something.

        I don’t know what’s going to happen/where they’re going to go after finding that last jewel, but this was just my initial idea. If you like, I’d be more than happy to brainstorm further with you. 😊

          OHHH I LOVE THAT IDEA!!! Why didn’t I think of that?? *facepalm*

          After they find the jewel (Ivy actually knows it’s location, but she’s not willing to give it away at first), they get attacked by the witch and have to escape from her magic. They then go back to the castle to save the princess. Assuming she’s still alive that is. I don’t want to give the entire ending away 😁

          If I need help with anything else, I will for sure ask you. Thanks for your help!!

                @erynne,

                Ooh, your book sounds quite interesting!! Honestly, Elisha’s idea sounds much better than all of my cliche ones, but here’s a couple ideas from my dead brain anyway. 🙂

                1. Have her want to come along, so she stows away or something
                2. She lives with this witch, right? Maybe have the witch force Ivy to ask to go or something to act as a spy.

                Sorry I can’t be more helpful!

                  You’re totally fine. That’s at least more than what I thought of XD

                  They are good ideas! Thank you, I really appreciate it 🙂
