The word war has only just finished (though the winners haven’t been worked out yet because we’re still collecting word counts) but THE NEXT PROMPT WAR HAS ALREADY BEGUN.

And guys

I’m excited for this.

 

The prompt: write a comedy based on the Mona Lisa

The dates: Monday 1st – Monday 15th

 

I’m not the judge this time, so I’ll be here to work with you guys, and let me just say…you wrote a great comedy last time so WE CAN DO IT AGAIN.

 

Same drill as always. We’ve got two weeks to write a scene and make it epic.

1. We brainstorm here on this topic. We decide on the story concept, choose characters, etc.
2. We write a scene in this google doc HERE. You can each add your ideas into the story and help. (NOTE: the scene has to be under 2500 words)
3. We edit. We polish. We make sure that this is the best we can make it. We also make sure the comedy will make the judge totally crack up laughing the whole way through.

 

The thing about this contest, is that everyone is going to try make their story funny, so we have to make our story unexpectedly funny. Not just amusing. But amusing in a way that’s totally original and hilarious and perfect.
