I’m going to be honest with you: I put off doing this topic for a long time for no good reason at all, but NOW I’M FINALLY DOING IT.

Basically…we’re going to develop a fictional world for our guild.

 

I personally thought “wow, this won’t help us write more words.” and while that is completely true, it still isn’t totally useless. I think we can have fun together and build this imaginary realm and our sense of camaraderie at the same time.

Obviously a) don’t let this take too much time from your writing, and b) have fun! I’ve stalked the other guilds and they had a ton of fun with this so it’s about time for us to join in. 😛

 

Some of the things we could develop:

– What genre are we? (fantasy, sci fi, steampunk, fairytale, etc.)

– What is our ‘culture’? (food, songs, traditions)

– What does our world look like?

– Why are we all here in the guild? (Sent on a mission? The guild of magic meerkats? I don’t know. xD)

– Do we have a coat of arms/symbol?

– Legends, myths, heroes of old?

– Anything else cool that you want to think up.

 

Basically the only rule here is to have fun and let your imagination run wild!
