I have no idea about writing law enforcement…but I do have a few ideas that might help.

Maybe you could talk to an officer that you know and ask them questions. Even a retired police officer would be great help. If you don’t know any, that’s fine (I know like 6 😁).

How do I include side characters in a “Quest” story who seem to serve no purpose, but who without the quest would seem unrealistic?
