@tashah-claymore yea, I comprehend what you are saying!
Through the twines of conversation
There comes the pleasant realization
That all have came and so have done
The very thing that you have sewn.
I did one face illustration that turned out well. It was when I was doing homework. That’s another thing! I usually start having a lot of ideas…[Read more]

@emma-starr – Awesome! I’ll take a look at it. Unfortunately, no. I don’t publish them anywhere. Though, my plan is to gather and write a bunch more and try to publish them as well as publishing them on websites like this and perhaps others. I don’t have a blog or website of my own yet but I’m in the process of getting a computer and creating one…[Read more]

Yeah, @tashah-claymore, it’s really frustrating when I have a picture in my head of something and I can’t put it down anywhere. Then I loose it and the idea. Usually I’ll write a description of it but that’s not really the same thing. Let’s just say that people aren’t exactly my strong point either. They always end up looking like some misshapen,…[Read more]

@emma-starr – Thank you. Thanks! Golly gee whilickers! I know a person named Emma Starkey. Startling coincidence, huh?
So you write poetry? So do I! Are you in the processes of formulating a book of your poetry? So am I! Do you like writing couplets? So do I! In fact…there’s a challenge.
Thanks!

@wordsmith – Ah, yes. Tear-dropping. Gut-wrenching. Dramatically filled with lush quotations and mugs of coffee.
Yes, I do write poetry quite a bit. As of now my favourite poet would be between Wordsworth and Frost. Though Shakespeare is quite good as well.
And yes, you can count on it. Look at the Forum topic Poetry discussions under Fresh…[Read more]

@tashah-claymore – My sister and I got a bunch of oil-painting essentials and began to get into that, but it kind of petered out and now she does watercolour. She gave me all of her oil-painting things and right now they’re at rest atop my heavy bookshelf. I’m going to try to get into it but I just need white paint. I’ve got everything else though…[Read more]

Hey do any of you write poetry?
Of course, @wordsmith is in Rillumen, so that’s kind of an obvious question.

Hey, @i-david. You and I are kinda alike in the ways that we both write fantasy and have a ga-zillion ideas in various places of our instinctionaries and house libraries (I wish)

@tashah-claymore – Hey, I get what you mean about the Silmarillion; I started reading it about two years ago and it didn’t really catch, but it might later.
Yeah, I only used pen with my maps, plus my main idea for them was just to get it all down so I would have a general idea of where I was in the world and all that, but…cool! I’ve looked…[Read more]

@wordsmith – Glad to make your acquaintance! Yes, I can be pretty tear-dropping myself (not to brag…not like that’s anything to brag about, anyway…you get the picture)
As for Myers Briggs – never heard of it.

Um, your welcome (cough) I just realized that there were seventeen more panels here and not just the first one…whoops, huh? (heh-heh-heh) I find I’m doing that a lot. Well, anyway, the poems on the first panel were still great!

@tashah-claymore – Thanks!
True, and thank you again.
Why, thanks!
That’s okay. I’ve only read the prose version of Beren and Luthien in the Silmarillion (by Tolkien), but I do have the poetic form. I’m at the beginning of the beginnings of reading it.
Cool! and yes, I do. It’s a full world-map and there are different versions so I don’t have…[Read more]

@k-a-grey – Just an informal challenge considering that I don’t exactly have a prize and if I did, I wouldn’t have any way of giving it out. But if you would wish for a time limit, I would be all the more supportive in that motive. How’s this:
Within the limpid water, glows
A light that blossoms, ever grows.

It is a little long, but if you sing it to the tune of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen it should go fine. I’m going to attempt to do a rewrite with more of the form of the first poem I showed on here. More of a narrative free-verse. Because I don’t think people will be able to really pick this up.

The Blaethede of the Minstrel
I, Thesperos of Lunthrus, was sent from the city Ithmar, to sight the wanderings and ideas of the people of Ruorn, chief city of the kingdom of Ar’nourlh. While there, I was partially delayed by a roving band of minstrels and other such peoples who caught me up with the prospect of work for them. Apparently, they t…[Read more]

The poem may be hard to read because it’s in a songish type format that I half-way made up, but I’ll post it on here for critique if you want.
Yes! I used to have goblins too, but I took them out because they really weren’t fitting with the feel I wanted in Anadyre.
Thank you! I tried to make it different…[Read more]
