The Fledgling Artist

@kpcentaursister I tagged you in the other post about drawing characters. But I’d love to draw all ten!!!! Just as long as there’s no time crunch. Because I can get kind of busy…

@the-fledgling-artist

would you be interested in this??

@the-fledgling-artist Me too! *hugs you back* 🤗 I’m doing great! I’ve been making a lot of Christmas cards, but now that the holiday season is over, I’m finally going back to writing my books. 😊

How have you been? I’ve really enjoyed seeing all your art on Instagram. 😍

@itisastarrynight Thank you, Ara! I’m glad to be back. 🙂

@the-fledgling-artist, I’ve actually heard that they’re really nice for small details like hair, etc. Or erasing colored pencil.

@christieaton, Oh, yes! kneaded erasers are amazing!

Alright, here’s my update on the illustrations. My sketch for chapter four was approved and I’m almost finished with the final drawing, just a little more touching…[Read more]

@The-fledgling-artist Yes!!! I’m so excited to be added!!!!!!!!!

@kay

Yes! It’d be awesome to have you join us!! 😀❤

@chalice

Okay! Do you want to plan on a certain day of the week to post our work…say Friday? We wouldn’t have to do that, but it might be helpful. It’s usually easier for me to do stuff like this if I have a schedule. But I am fine if we just post whenever.

@the-fledgling-artist

YAY!!

Oh my gosh, guys that’s an amazing idea!! Do y’all think that I could join?? @eden-anderson @chalice @the-fledgling-artist

@christieaton @the-fledgling-artist, Here’s mine. I did it with a purple ballpoint pen, but it looks more bluish here for some reason. XP

@the-fledgling-artist, Ooh, I like yours. That color of blue is one of my favorites. 🙂  I like the puppy too.

@christieaton, Nice! That looks awesome. Did you have a picture you based that off of?

@eden-anderson, Yeah, I probably wouldn’t be able to do one page a day either, but one a week sounds manageable.

@the-fledgling-artist, I was thinking just read through one of the Psalms on the page, or all of them (if there’s more than one, and if a certain verse from that page sparks an image in your mind, draw that. At least that’s what I was…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist I just love the way you draw characters, they look great!

@the-fledgling-artist

I would say either. 😀

@itisastarrynight @chalice @the-fledgling-artist Here it is! And also my first completed work of 2019.

@evelyn

*cries* I’m sorry you won’t be joining us…but hey! If you wanted to you could just do what @the-fledgling-artist suggested.

@the-fledgling-artist

Yes, you should do it with us, even if you only have “boring” paper to do it on. 😀

@the-fledgling-artist

Thank you!

We accidentally stayed up until midnight last night, so we did too. 🙂 The neighborhood was going crazy with fireworks, including some big ones right out our front window. Pretty cool!

@samantha-pen

I feel exactly one year older, even though I am only a day older…. 😀

@itisastarrynight @chalice @the-fledgling-artist

Just starting mine, we’ll see how it goes

Sorry for the late response, my family moved over the holidays and we don’t have running water right now, so life is a bit crazy!

I heard about SE through @evelyn . She introduced it to me and helped me join!

@the-fledgling-artist, I love almost all art styles except some modern art. However, I really like the Impressionists such as Monet and…[Read more]

@chalice

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun with it. 🙂

YES! That is such a cool idea!!! We should do it together! I don’t know if I would be able to do a page a day…but maybe once a week?! We could maybe even get @evelyn and @the-fledgling-artist roped into this too! 😀❤

Maybe not. but it still sounds cool! 🙂

@the-fledgling-artist, Oh, wow! I really it! You did such a great job. It is really cool to see your character in someone else’s style. 😀 It’s kind of weird, sometimes I can write a character better if I have a picture of them. So this might help me write Adriel, since I haven’t actually done a picture…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist  Ahhhheh, thanks! I seem to have a lot of fans. . . (I’m NOT bragging. I’m NOT.) . . . So I’m not sure. I guess it depends on how you look at it? XD
