@joelle stone
do you know where @denali-Christianson went? I guess we’re all so busy with school, but if we can try to at least post once a week we can stop what happened to me, namely a six month silence.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Oooh I love these recs. Totally second The Stormlight Archives, Six of Crows, Wingfeather Saga, and I’m a big Brandon Sanderson fan. Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell was fun too, though it’s been a while. I also recommend Gillian Bronte Adams.</p>
So fun to see some of my favorites listed here! -

Whoa, hold on. I’m going to contradict you on this one
Interesting, I didn’t consider the law factor, that’s a good point.
I would argue, though, that the way these laws were obeyed varied (such as some only using tassels during prayer–as I read somewhere), and were stricter or took too far in different times (such as the Ph…[Read more]

“yes.” Pia replied shortly. She turned to Kallun, “Now what are you doing here?”
Kallun sighed, “we have to stop the wizard (a wizard guy right?), he’s destroying everything.”
Pia nodded. She picked up both her pike and her helmet. -

That’s just…madness. xD
The only correct word for it XD
That’s the kinda stuff that I have a hard time finding out if they kept through the middle ages. For the most part, I think the average Jew did not (usually due to assimilation), but it’s difficult to find out for sure.
Whoa, hold on. I’m going to contradict you on this one :)…[Read more]

I wish that was an exaggeration, but there’s no way to fake the sprints and I know how carefully they check it. It’s legit

I think something else that I’ve never seen before are just the little details like all the characters wearing tzit-tzit

Oh, goodness, I have no faith in my ability to write anything coherent because I’ve had to accept the fact that I actually am sick, but here goes.
Liorah
Lorcan raised an eyebrow. “So now you’re mocking my code? Very mature of you princess.”
I crossed my arms, tighter than needed, feeling the cold anger coursing through my veins.
“How much…[Read more]

Hey now, I have good excuses.
Ha, excuses, excuses XD
You started it.
Quote me correctly, sir, I was competing against myself. You made it a race XD

Kallun pulled away and straightened. “Oh. Pia, this is Princess Eliana and, uh, Julian.” He turned to them, “This is Princess Pia Aphitsu of the Thabian Empire.” Pia gave them a regal nod.

Lorcan
Lorcan smiled down at Quin in a way that he hoped was encouraging. He wasn’t sure yet what Quin’s feelings towards him were – positive or negative? Quin was a hard egg to crack for sure. But he’d get there. Somehow.
Quin introduced himself to the ever preening Liorah.
“I fell through the roof! Did you see it?”, she exclaimed. “I mean,…[Read more]

Also, I don’t have to listen to someone who replies to things during class and doesn’t pay attention. *Evil grin*

Don’t make this a race, I warned you I’m competitive XD

The hug was lengthy, but soon the girl, Pia, pulled away and smacked him on his shoulder.
“Ow! Hey!”
“that what you deserve! I should slug you good for leaving me in Thabia!”
Kallun rubbed his shoulder. “But Thabia-“”don’t you dare say that Thabia is my home!” Her walls broke and she hugged him again. “You’re my home.”
(did that sound weird to you? xD)

Oohh, your Hakan sounds facinating! Seeing him interact with Quin would be so interesting!
that’s cool. What does he look like?
Not like yours XD Dark hair, really tall, light blue eyes. He usually seems pretty nice until he kicks into villain mode for any reason, then he’s horrifying. He’s perfectly willing to resort to v…[Read more]

that’s cool. What does he look like? Interestingly enough, they’re a bit similar. My Hakan is an outlaw (leader of the pack). He’s the nicest of them, but he still steals things in one country and sells them in another. He’s a perfect dichotomy of trustworthy and backstabber. Oh, did I mention that he and Quin’s younger…[Read more]

He was blushing and wouldn’t look at me. He reminded me of both Aydin and Faye, somehow.

@rose-colored-fancy *Waves* Hi!
Quin
The tall girl turned her hawk-like eyes full on Quin. He drew back and his eyes flickered away.
Ha. Shouldn’t have come over here.
He glanced up at Locran. he had tossed his hair out of his face, and was eyeing Quin. when he caught Quin’s glance he cocked a lopsided grin at him.
Quin glanced at Qatar.…[Read more]

Wha-hat?? We both have the same name in our stories???!!! What does your Hakan look like? Who is he, what’s he do? (I assume it’s a he, lol).
LOL, he’s the main villain XD He’s honestly terrifying, though he’s very charming on the surface. I named him Hakan as a pun because it means king and he is a king so I called him King Kin…[Read more]
