@joelle_stone
Thanks. How’s Virtus handling his situation?

Thanks! His appearance and voice are based on Garrett Hedlund (the picture is of Hedlund from the movie Mojave, which I haven’t actually seen…)
Also I might throw Bren in the villain castle if Rowan ends up leaving… -

By the way for those of you who are curious, this is what Brendin looks like:

Before anyone could break the silence after Brendin’s sudden appearance he was suddenly struck by something from above, something heavy and…yelling. Immediately Brendin rolled out and away from under the man, halting in a crouch, his dagger nearly leaping into his hand. In front of him was another man, a soldier by the look of him, and p…[Read more]

I have not read those stories no, but I’ve heard of them and they sound interesting. The picture is actually the owl form of a wereowl side character in my urban fantasy story (her name is Cyrene Alistair and she works as a barista in a coffee shop run by Nicolas Flamel).
As for Virtus falling on Bren, go for it. Just be warned B…[Read more]

Rowan glared at the paling sky. The sun always rose at inopportune times, it seemed. Still, the sunlight was useful, and she would need it to navigate this godforsaken place. She still did not know how she had arrived in the miserable little village, only that she had gone to sleep in the barracks and woken here. A sneer curled her lip upw…[Read more]

Brendin has arrived at the castle and is quite confused. Be warned, he may be a bit dangerous if provoked, but he makes a powerful ally.

Brendin stared out across the fallow fields, glimmering silver in the twilight. It was hard to see much beyond the red glow of the fire he’d made. He sat with his back to the dark woods. He had no desire to stare into those haunted eaves, not if the erlkind lurked within.
A twig snapped.
Brendin did not turn to look, instead calmly lo…[Read more]

I made up the name in middle school because I liked the nickname Sky but not the name Skylar, so I just added on to it to make Skylarynn. Ironically, it is the name of one of my characters, particularly Skylarynn Evilian, a precognizant psychic.

How should Brendin enter the castle or the village? (Also I would write that on the Castle Chronicles, right?)

Is it too late to join this?
The character I have in mind is from my High Fantasy story. I don’t want to spoil much of his story, so I’ll be vague for now.
The name he answers to is Brendin Warin, though he isn’t sure it still belongs to him. Among the Kelts ‘Brendin’ means ‘dark prince’, an irony which is not lost on him. In appearance he is…[Read more]

Name: Jade Thorne (Not my real one but I like this one better)
Appearance: Somewhere between 5’6″ and 5’10”, shoulder length defiantly straight (curls fall out in an hour) tangle-proof hair, wide hazel/brown eyes, tannish with a yellowy tint.
Pets: 17yo feral American Shorthair cat with a tortoiseshell coat and white socks named Tawney (but she…[Read more]
