  • He dug his heels as Sir Scary let out a muttered curse and started to yank him forward.

“I’ll scream I’ll convince everyone you’re kidnapping me you can’t make me get in there!” Alessio threatened barely in a whisper, his voice beginning to border hysteric. Almost instantly a fist landed a hair’s breadth from his head as he ducked, catching the…[Read more]

  • “Hello there.”

Leana gave a quick screech in start, and swung around. Her hands fisted together, swinging too, hopefully bruising whatever infernal male-

Thunk. Her hands hit a helmet,. “Owww…” She growled, gritting her teeth. She glanced down at her hands while recoiling backwards. Leana’s eyes hurriedly looked up. Her heart thundered. He did…[Read more]

  • Hi guys! *waves shyly* Long time no see!
(Thurston Howell the III… very well done… dx)

Leana reined up beside the field hospital, and swung from the saddle. She tripped toward the tent, passing the reins to a solider. Her thighs ached, and her cheeks were rosy from the cool wind. But when she pulled back the tent flap, intending to report…[Read more]

Ok!! So…there’s been a lot of clutter and confusion in the Character Castle and it’s been quiet for a bit so…”IT’S 12 PM DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHARACTERS ARE???”
Everybody tell everybody what your characters are doing and where they are and we’ll see where to go from there? 🙂

  • Before Alessio could recover, an explosion of pain blasted his jaw.

“Don’t ever get anywhere near my mask. Do you understand?” His enemy snapped, sharp enough Alessio flinched, more from that than the bruise forming around the side of his face.

“What happe…?” He was going to actually ask what would happen if he did touch the mask but faded off.…[Read more]

  • Instinct kicked in.

    Literally.

Alessio kicked Hades in the face.

Reflexively, he spun himself over the handcuffs and landed in a crouch to dodge being thrown off balance with his confines. He was going to kill Alessio, Alessio had zero doubt. All he could do was disorient the man long enough to get the cuffs off! He tried to land a blow to his…[Read more]

  • Accept your fear and cowardice!

One million ways to break a human being, and all the pieces just never die. It’s amazing how much people can take and not die however much they wish they could. Something about staying alive is so human, no matter how much you hate life you’re just a little too scared to leave it…

    Can’t feel don’t feel he can’t…[Read more]

  • “Hey. Can I join you?”

Was that a joke? Nobody had ever actually joined him in a mad quest for brutal vengeance…that might be fun.

Of course he got stuck with the blind guy who talks a lot. Pft, at least he didn’t get Sherlock.

“Also. Can someone tell me where I am? And where my…uh…staff is?

“And my foot’s bleeding. Again. Or still. Because of…[Read more]

  • Did I black out?

Did I … finally finish falling through another hole in reality?

    Well.

    That’s … interesting.

I’ll just not dwell on that.

    At all.

“Fine, can I start with killing you?”

“Hey. Can I join you?” Because honestly, the monster in charge of literal holes in reality needs to die.

Or at least get punched in the face.

    I c…[Read more]

I’ll just say I’m gonna wait for someone else to make the first move lol

  • “I’ll open the safe.” Arsene said finally, no witty remark or scheme this time…Alessio wasn’t sure how to respond to that…Carefully, the robber set the lady down as gently as if she were a queen. What was Arsene? He just couldn’t gauge him, just how dangerous or amoral was he? He…seemed to care, but not about his own life or – Alessio shook off…[Read more]

  • So.

    It was quiet.

Not a real quiet, only the façade of silence loud with insecurities, and with torturous anticipation.

A numb sort of quiet because it was coming again. If the silence were a color it would be grey – not pure white or wicked black, not a single color really. The kind of grey that blocks out all the other colors and just fa…[Read more]

  • You’d have thought Arsene had never seen Alessio use his powers for all the racket he was making.

Yes it’s a stupid wall of fire, and you vanish things out of existence so I think we’re even! Water was pouring out the ceiling, even worse than most rainstorms he’d been caught it. That. was not fun.

Arsene actually looked a lot more panicke…[Read more]

  • *cough cough* Uh…what happens to them if like this character’s *cough* entire character arc revolves around him NOT being willing to accept his greed and selfish characteristics…??

    And.

How am I gonna do this without major insta-spoilers and a huuuuuuuuuuuuge mega backstory infodump? *cracks knuckles dramatically*

  • Nithel didn’t like Sherlock. Something about him grained on his chest. The lack of deference or respect for everyone else, but himself. But he knew the Star Breather loved him, so he chose love him as well, to wonder why he was what he was, even if Nithel didn’t like him. But, does the Star Breather really love this Sherlock? Does He really love…[Read more]

  • Bored out of his mind. That was eXaCtLy how Alessio was feeling…

He couldn’t afford to slow down.

Get somewhere marginally safe. Find Arsene. Where was that idiot now? Alessio wasn’t sure whether he was more miffed that Arsene wasn’t there, or that he was really scared for him. Because it was a stupid idea to catch feelings for a bankrob…[Read more]

  • “After me punks! Never bet against a ranger when death is on the line!” He whooped and dove into the mirror with- Accept your greed and selfishness.

Nithel’s chest tightened, but he jumped up, (snatching the cloth if blind man left it), and dove through after him.

All had to enter now, and the walls were literally closing in. No time to thi…[Read more]

The man looked at Nathair a little quizzically, he could already feel himself being assessed, judged. He was used to that, so incredibly used to it. That was the basis of human interaction, wasn’t it? Judging, assessing how useful every individ…[Read more]

  • “You remind me of someone I used to know…” Someone spoke, not loudly, but not in a whisper. “Nathair, at your service.”

Nithel glanced over his shoulder, brows quirked. Is he speaking to me? ‘Snake’ or ‘Serpent’ was looking at Nithel; Nithel wondered about the parents, that would name their child such. Nithel nodded to him, slowly. “Nithel,…[Read more]

  • The blind one was grumbling about glass in his foot and threatening to pick a mirror at random.

His bleeding foot looked painful. (*Me: Go figure.*)

He’d observed that sometimes other people wince when someone else is in pain, even if they don’t know them too well. But, he’s never experienced that, it just fascinated him.

    That boy Alessio alway…[Read more]
