“You remind me of someone I used to know…” Someone spoke, not loudly, but not in a whisper. “Nathair, at your service.”

Nithel glanced over his shoulder, brows quirked. Is he speaking to me? ‘Snake’ or ‘Serpent’ was looking at Nithel; Nithel wondered about the parents, that would name their child such. Nithel nodded to him, slowly. “Nithel, son of Father.” You’re the son of no one, echoed deep inside. But he refused to believe that.

Nithel searched Nathair’s face, unsure if there was something to be said, pondering why the man wished to serve him, and wondering if the blind man needed wanted help.
