I am so sorry it has taken me forever to get back to this. School and work were crazy, but I’m back now! Ok on to the female descriptions:

Nova: Black hair, pixie cut, long bangs hang to the side of her face; 5’3”; reddish-brown eyes; muscles from training her whole life; Asian complexion (Chinese to be precise); Scars on torso, arms, and legs from sparring; rarely wears makeup, but sometimes uses a little (eyes and lips); heart shaped face

Cassiopeia: Black hair, kiniky-curly when down/usually in long braids c beads @ the end; brown eyes; 5’6”; muscles from training at school; dark chocolate-milk skin color;  some scars from training; usually wears some amount of makeup (eyes, lips, frames face at least); oval shaped face

I’ll get you the female descriptions as soon as I can. I’m not a place right now where I’m able to access the document with all the descriptions.

@theclumsy_lamplighter To me, the beds were normal. I think y’all Americans have beds that are too soft sometimes. But if you imagine throwing a thick blanket on a hardwood floor, that’s kinda all it was.

The food was so much better than the Westernized versions people make here. They had so many more spices and flavours. We make some at home sometimes, but rarely go out to eat it because we’re all snobs now.

@theclumsy_lamplighter I’m American. I currently live in Colorado, but we lived in NE Asia for 12+ years as missionaries. (I am perfectly happy to answer any questions you have about any of my childhood lol. Also, if you’re really curious, I started a blog about it that I update periodically: https://tckcultureshock.wordpress.com)

Quick question, y’all: I got an email saying I was accepted into a guild, but idk what guild or how to open it?

Edit: Nevermind guys, I figured it out. **shyly waves thanks and exits quickly**

@the-fledgling-artist Jørgan Alioth would probably dress in a cotton shirt of some kind (I never imagined anything but the color really–he is a farmer so probably not anything very form fitting, but pretty much up to your imagination) and pants with pockets and of a color that might hide stains and dirt easily (again, style is up to you).

Yes, unfortunately I am apparently blind when it comes to reading discussion topics. **face palms** sorry guys! Thanks for bearing with me

Here are some ideas just to start. Let me know if you have questions or prefer female options better.

Male options: It is a futuristic SciFi Dystopian world that involves space travel so feel free to add that into any designs.

Jørgan: 17 years old; Dirty-blond hair, longish crew cut (usually a bit of a mess); blue eyes; 5’11”ish; muscular from living on farm and then from training; pale skin (tanned at first, but becomes pale after living and training on a spaceship); round face. Usually wears blue (casual) or dark grey jumpsuit (uniformed).

Achim: 17 years old; Black hair, short crew cut; 5’10”ish; brown eyes; muscles from training and climbing (if you’ve seen The Force Awakens think Rey climbing for scavenger stuff) basically all from practical training so I imagined him with a softer stomach (not fat, but not a 6-pack); middle eastern complexion; oval face. Usually wears dark browns or colors that are easy to hide dirt and stains, or the same dark grey jumpsuit mentioned above.

Ares: 17 years old; Blond hair, short and kept neat; green eyes; fit, but not overly muscular; pale complexion; manicured hands and complexion; long face; (If it helps, he’s supposed to be from Germany). His family are wealthy merchants. He rarely wears anything casual, but when he’s home we wears grey and purple accents on his clothes and the same jumpsuit above when training on the spaceship.

@the-fledgling-artist @theclumsy_lamplighter Sorry y’all, I couldn’t find the other post *oops*. There is no time crunch whatsoever. I write in my spare time too and skip parts I can’t think of on the spot (usually descriptions) so I can go back to them.

Should I give you some basic descriptions here or how does this work? (Sorry I’m new and grateful for any instruction)

As my sisters age, I will probably write older things too. At the moment, though, I try to stay within their maturity and emotional understanding and allow them to maintain a childhood innocence while they can.

@theclumsy_lamplighter 3 bedroom house but we converted half the basement into a 4th bedroom lol. Plus the oldest sister is married so she doesn’t need a bedroom. But yes, it was definitely crazy growing up.

Thanks! I grew up in China and Korea so I love their culture and language.

@valtmy That’s a good analysis. I was thinking something along the lines of  the Secret Agent Dingledorf series by Bill Meyers. The protagonist is more of a #2 character, but the villain is more #3. The protagonist will get home from school and then go fight crime (hence his #2 persona), but the villain (I think) is seen trying to go shopping or do PR things with all his technology to help him.

                              I’ll check it out!

Great topic! I spent a bit of time trying to think of another category, but I think you’ve pretty much covered it.

I would love to read some of your #3 stories. I like those, but sadly there aren’t many that are written well enough for me to be able to read them. I do love the comedic aspects of it, though. I haven’t found many well written stories in this category that are not children’s books. Granted, I love to read younger chapter books, but I have a hard time writing them sometimes. Why do you think that’s generally the focus audience?

I typically tend to write in #2. Being an ordinary person myself, I find it is easier for me to write a believable character that way (though most of my characters have an extraordinary aspect that makes them unique). Plus, with my dystopian leanings, it is also an easier way to explain the world.

That’s another good idea. The reason for the torture scene is that 1) I need the villain to get certain information that she will eventually provide and 2) I need her to lose the eye so she can have a cyborg one for later scenes.

Since I am writing this with a 10-12 age level in mind, I’m probably not going to show so much pain, but I do write older and darker scenes sometimes separately just to see if I can.
