A tired little smile tugs at my lips. I wink. “Oh, surviving.”

Archer slips away. I hesitate as the others move on around me, then gather my hoodie around my shoulders and slip after her.
The room is dark and smells of old wood and candles. I slide down the wall beside her, cross my ankles, and let my gaze lose itself in the pleasant dark.
It’s nice to breathe again.

@r-m-archer Yep, that’s the one. Progress… *light-headed laugh* *brandishes flamethrower* I will finish it by the end of this month or die trying.
Probably the latter. Would you by any chance be interesting in writing my epitaph? 😛

@r-m-archer careful, I may take you up on that. 😉
It’s something I’m working on long term. This year probably won’t see much of it because I want to focus on a few standalone projects for now, but I’ll definitely be coming back to it.
Aw, how cool!
I still want one for a pet. #rebel

@r-m-archer thanks. 😀 It’s taken me a long time to get it ‘thinked’ to that stage of completeness, and even now only two of the eleven books are even drafted. 😛 It should be fun though. *nods*
Also I love your snow banshees. I want one for a pet.

@cassandraia oops, you beat me to posting! I love the pearl/goddess thing. Super cool! And that is such a sad but intriguing idea with the lotus. I would totally read that. Great job. It’s making me sad and angry just thinking about it. 😛

@Daeus yessssssssssssss, this is my favorite Law.
Now let me see. How to articulate this.
Okay. So, the only magic system I’ve created to date (and the only one I probably ever will create, just because one is more than enough for my poor struggling brain :P) is the soft magic that permeates Evalleone, the world eleven of my fantasy books take p…[Read more]

*waves* Hello Introverts. INFP here.
Background noise… *purses lips* I feel like this should be a simple question. Our house has a very open floor-plan, so I can’t really remember a time when it was anything like quiet, especially since there are fourteen of us. 😉 I used to listen to music on my headphones to escape, but developed a hearing…[Read more]

@eden-anderson you got it. A great-aunt of mine is in the same place, and unfortunately she isn’t saved. We’re doing what we can to share the gospel with her, but she’s rejected it so many times over the course of her life we can’t really tell if it’s doing any good.
You have my prayers. <3
