To kick things off: If you were an ice cream flavor, what would you be and why?

For me, I’d be butter pecan.

I’m sweet, I’m salty, and (if you hadn’t noticed) a little bit nutty.

Butter pecan has an overall smooth, put-together flavor, and that suits me because I like to go with the flow and roll with the punches. I’m open and easy to get to know in the right context (but not extroverted!!!).

And yet I can get a little snarky and cynical at times, hence the salty balance.

Finally, the earthy tones which the pecans add underscore the fact that I am an eccentric, random, and yet well-grounded individual. Sometimes things I say stick out from nowhere, but they are rooted in deep thought, and if I explain it, people will usually see how it connects to the trunk. Either that, or they are left chasing leaves in the wind. There are, after all, a few people here and there who just don’t get me. 😀

And I hope you all appreciate the various tree and earth puns that I scattered through that last attribute. (Almost like the nuggets of nuts you find in a nice bowl of butter pecan ice-cream…. Hmm…)
