I needed this; I am a terrible self-editor.
“Have fun. You wrote a book. Thatβs super cool” I don’t hear this very often in writing craft articles. Thank you! π -

@law0413 Yes, keep us updated! π
I actually do have a prayer request. It’s not for me, but someone on a another writing forum asked for people to pray for Australia. They’re having a really bad drought right now, and the farmers are finding that there’s nothing for their animals to eat, so they’re selling them off. They need a really good hard…[Read more]

@andrew I like the humor in it. π I do agree with The Fledgling Artist that you could use a few less ellipses. Another suggestion I do have, would be coming up with a different food item other than ‘pasta’ that Nightjay teaches Susan how to make; since pasta would be an Earth dish that was created there, and he’s from another world. That’s just…[Read more]

A few of you from Kingdom Pen may remember my dystopian book.
Well…I’m rewriting it. π
Anyway, I’m posting the prologue here, which is really different from the original. I’d like to hear what you all think, and feel free to leave comments. π

A Time to Die did that for me too. Parvin was so relatable, her struggle, her desires, and her journey with God. I found so many similarities between her and myself, that I felt really connected to her story. That’s what really makes me open up and connect; a relatable protagonist with realistic struggles and goals.

@law0413 Oh no, not her stitches! I’m glad she’s being treated well by the vets and that she’s on her way to recovery. π I know how stressful it can be to take a pet to the vet, but I’m sure both of you will be doing just fine in no time. π

@gabriellepollack Nope, haven’t started school yet. Benefits of being homeschooled: my school-starting date doesn’t get moved earlier every year. π (I don’t start until after Labor Day)
My writing goals? Nothing super definite, but I’d like to get a good amount of outlining done for one of my projects.
