Parimis. The first guild war of 2019 has arrived! And I’ve got a good feeling about this one. (As in, we’re going to love it and go crazy.)

 

Prompt: Write a story with an Unclichéd Happy Ending. (BITTERSWEET ENDINGS DON’T COUNT.)

Word Limit: 2500

Starts: *awkward cough* Apparently Monday 4th EST

Ends: Monday 18th EST

(So sorry! I hadn’t checked the group chat until this morning and had an internal panic cos ahhhhhh time ran awaaaaay.)

 

For those who are new to Parimi Alca Guild Wars, or if you just want a refresher, here’s what I’ve got.

1. We all brainstorm together in this thread. The doc does NOT get touched yet.
2. One or two people will volunteer to write a draft based on what we’ve discussed on this doc HERE.
   1. This draft is going to be rough, and may not even have the full story.
   2. It also does not need to reach the 2500 word–or even close–at this stage.
3. We all get together and edit this on suggestion mode
   1. This will involve adding in entire paragraphs, suggesting rewrites, adding in sentences here and there, etc. Imagine you are editing your own first draft.
   2. I will be accepting comments as we go in order to keep things more organised than last time.

I’m really hoping we all give a shot at participating this time, and WE CAN DO IT. We keep  getting the honourable mention, so I’m sure that we can win one. *cheers*

 

What ideas do you have? I’m honestly a little stumped here cos I’m more of a bittersweet ending sort of person, so I really am interested in what you have to say.

Also, let’s work on getting our Pacing and Suspense going strong from last year, and see how much we can include regarding our Characters.
