I love how Pixar does their endings. I’ve seen it described as not necessarily the ending that everyone hoped for, or that the characters expected, but it’s the ending that the story and characters needed. (Minor spoiler: Like in Up or Cars 3). I’d like to figure out how they build up to those endings, and incorporate that into my own writing.

@sam-kowal –Thanks! I think so too. Most of my pins on my writing ideas board on Pinterest consist of regional gothic prompts for all sorts of creepy stories. I think it’d be fun to do an anthology one day.

@elizabeth—Same. Summer can’t come soon enough! Do you mind if I ask what you’re studying? I’m a business major, and I work as a barista on the side. Thus the dream of owning my own coffee shop! XD Books are still my main passion though, and I’m hoping to work in the publishing industry somehow. We’ll see where God leads—it’s always an adventure, amirite?

I’m excited to be a part of this cool community. 😉 I know, I was surprised to find that one of the mods shares my name—that sure doesn’t happen too often! Hopefully it won’t be too confusing. 🙂

First off, let me say that I am THRILLED to be here and meet you all. I’m so thankful to find a community of dedicated Christian writers to write with! I found Story Embers through Kingdom Pen, which I only just recently discovered thanks to the advice of K.M. Weiland.
