If it helps, @calidris once gave me some great advice when I was doubting Aydin. She told me to imagine if they had grown up in completely normal circumstances. Would they still have those traits? For Aydin, that was a resounding yes.

No, he’s from a different story. Ríadnu is the “chosen one”  of a (favorite) WIP of mine, though not the POV character.
