@taylorclogston @julia I think we could do a sequel or two, depending on how many other things authors often say. I’ll have to check the “Crazy Writers, Artists, and Dragons” thread to see if there’s any more. It’s where I got most of the quotes for the first one.
Glad you liked the video!!

*rushes in after a long absence* I hear a fellow author releasing a desperate cry for help!!
I got your back, fellow author.
As someone who has written over four novels and published two, I am very familiar with your predicament. First of all, take @evelyn ‘s advice, because that sounds like the best thing for you at the…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose Most of my characters exist not only to drive the plot forward, but to create the plot itself–in the form of conflict. In my most recently published novel, titled “The Cry of the Lost”, Tory Hayfield and Ruby Westhouse are literally faced with conflict at school, in the form of several bullies who give them no peace. How the girls…[Read more]

@evelyn Yeesh, I sure have an issue with being busy. Sorry. But yes, this is what we have of the creed so far. Is it enough, you think? Or should we change it/add more?

@selah-chelyah THAT soon?! Maybe I should call my cousin in Redding and warn her now, instead of when the actual warning is released. Anyway, I stand corrected. I will keep up-to-date on this earthquake.

@selah-chelyah Glad I interpreted your intentions right! 😉 I’m always happy to step up and help people understand other people better!
@mairin-atha First of all, I love your name! I might use it in a book someday. Second, to answer your question, you know how forecasters do ‘tornado watches’ versus ‘tornado warnings’? That’s what this man, Mr.…[Read more]

@filewriter Yeah, I get it. It’s all good. If I didn’t know Selah better, I’d probably be more skeptical too. (sorry Selah, lol) But since I do know her, I know she genuinely cares about everybody and she’s just trying to warn everyone that something big’s about to happen. I’m considering myself warned. -_-

@filewriter and to everybody else that thinks this is a scam…it’s not. Selah’s telling the truth, in the best way she knows how. This guy, John Crisp, I subscribed to his reports when she suggested it, because I live near the west coast, in what experts say is the most seismically active state in the country (Nevada). So where I live is almost…[Read more]
