Wow, this has changed some of my thinking on several points! Thank you so much, Daeus! I write historical fiction, so this has been a really big deal for me to balance it well but do justice to history and to the people who lived it.

@sarah-inkdragon I’d prefer different poses, though I don’t have any particular ones in mind. However, if it’s too difficult, then it really doesn’t matter.
@thetessinator Thanks so much! Not really looking for perfection 😉

This was super helpful to me! I’m engaged in writing a bit of a darker story, and the MC is dealing with a lot that I wasn’t how to bring out of him. Now I know I need to hash out his worldview thoroughly before sitting down to write!

Thanks, ladies! It’s people that I need. Think either of you could go for these? They’re the most pressing ones right now.

Hello, Ember Stokers! (I hope I don’t get in trouble for posting this is the wrong space…)
I have tons of characters I need pictures of for a project, but I’m a terrible artist. I’ve seen some really talented artists here, and wondered if anyone was willing to practice on me. If so, you have my sincerest thanks. If not, I guess I’ll have to…[Read more]

Heir of Splendor is simply my title. Nothin’ special about it, save that it is what I am (which is very special).
True, I never thought of it in that way 😛 I am and and always have been a purest… my sisters, brother, and mother are all that way. And yes, I love the name of my WIP, but I have to give a friend credit for it.

@briannastorm Oh, you don’t say! I’m trying to develop my editing skills, so maybe you could give me a tip or two!
@ariel-ashira Indeed. I don’t appreciate it very much when people try abridging perfectly fine stories. How did you know that I was a purest??? :O
I do like to draw, but I’m not very good at it. It takes me weeks to finish a decent…[Read more]

*covers ears and yells* Well… it’s fitting, that’s for sure.
From what I hear, no one here is the definition of sane.

Well, both really. I hope to publish it someday because I spend so much time on it. I’m glad you liked it 😉
You’re a planster? Me too! I guess I didn’t know such a thing existed. Yes, I have a project like that going right now. It’s a little different from all the rest, but you never know…

@corkybookworm Thank you… I love the romance roses automatically inspire. It saves me some hard work getting people’s good opinions right off the bat… (oh, and did I mention I was also crazy? We’re in good company, my friend… never mind what those other boring sane people think.)

@filewriter Do you indeed? *takes out her lighter and switches it on and off, on and off, watching it burn in fascination* My dear, your profile picture is wonderfully in tune with our theme.
Unfortunately, I must undeceive you, I have not much to teach. I’ve only been writing with a set purpose in mind for a little over a year now. *sighs*…[Read more]

@ashlyvye Hello! I’m glad someone likes my name. My family is so used to it, it has long since lost it’s charm…
Anyway. My Current WIP is a historical story set in the Dark Ages, so it has a slight since of fantasy to it (what can I say? It’s called the Dark Ages for a reason!). I have the synopsis up on my profile, if you’d like to see it…[Read more]

@briannastorm Thank you very much *bows* I love being brilliant. My favorite books… oh my, I read so many of them it’s hard to choose. But I think it’s safe to say I love the classics. Ben Hur, Pearl Maiden, King Solomon’s Mines, and The Hidden Hand.
How about you? What genre do you like to read and write in mostly?
