Julian rolled his eyes. He stood up and went to the tunnel’s exit, which was still a few feet away. When he made it out, he immediately took a deep breath of the fresh air and looked around the forest. The change in light hurt his eyes, so he had to squint. Something beyond the forest caught his eye. It was too far away, but there was a strange glimmer in the distance. He rubbed his eyes, but it was still there. Making a quick decision, he decided to not travel the large distance across the forest alone and went back to the tunnel.

“Did you see anything out there?” Ellie asked.

He shrugged, “there was something in the distance, but it was probably just the sun reflecting off water or something.”

“Could it have been someone? Maybe dressed in armor?”

“Maybe, I’m not really sure. It was probably nothing.”

Pia sighed.

“I am back!” K’Nika ran back from the tunnel.

Kallun’s eyes widened. “Sorcerer!”

She now had purpley pink hair, pointed ears and fiery orange eyes, taking on the appearance of his own people.

She smiled. “No. Science.”
