Yep, I have the new one!
I knew about Wingfeather Tales vaguely after I finished the main saga, but I didn’t get around to reading it. Then I heard about the redos of the covers and illustrations, so I decided to just wait until the new one was out. And even if I’d gotten it before, I still would have gotten a second copy.
I mean. . . I have two copies of The Wingfeather Saga — one of the old edition, which I got before the new illustrations and covers were announced, and another of the new one, because it looked so good that I wanted copies of it.

And thx for praying! Honestly? Everything is pretty much how I expected it to be–I know that sounds confusing, but I mean that while part of me was kinda blinded by hope, deep down I kinda knew what afore-mentioned family member was gonna say before he told us. 😉 (If that makes any sense, lol)

If “you know who” (should I just say his name? XD) doesn’t respond tomorrow, I’m going to explode with tension and suspense. I don’t think I’ll be relaxed about this, whatever he says, until I know his answer…. *massages temples wearily*

I dunno what I’m gonna tell Ruth if he doesn’t respond. . . let’s just say that she kinda panicked (and I can’t say that I blame her), and I really hate to leave her hanging like that.
