      @mischievous-thwapling,

      I think we can leave our… encouragements up, ’cause she’ll be able to get the gentle idea of what happened. Hopefully it isn’t overload. *also feels helpless* *starts feeling cruel and callous*

        Yeah, that’ll work. *tries to get angry with you* *only succeeds in feeling worried and sad*

          Are we talking about BR? If so, I’ve already emailed her about it. I gave her the gist of it, but gave all the details a VERY wide berth — and warned her to steer clear of the Chat Doc. Hopefully she’ll check her email before the Doc when she gets back from her vacation. . . *winces*

          And BTW Ruth knows now too. Hopefully this incident doesn’t. . . *ahem* . . . lead to her being banned from rejoining, like she said it might. *winces again*

            @rebekah12,

            Okay, cool, thx for doing that. 🙂 And thx for telling Ruth, too. *winces* I agree. 🙁

              Oooh, thank you! (for emailing both of them XD) And I echo what Kinnan said: “I agree.”

              @joelle-stone

              Did you have the dodge-ball tournament yet? (wasn’t it yesterday?)

              EVERYONE:

              I feel like the thread’s a little slow–even though it was just started XD Where’s Lela?! @ivi-hope

              Okay, so to revive it a little, answer this question if the fancy takes you! What’s been your favorite part of the week

                Favourite part of the week… *thinks* Going outside and seeing all the flowers. XD It’s spring here and SO pretty *may be slightly overexcited bc there isn’t spring like this in China*XD

                  Oohhh, that’s so cool! (Here where I live, even though we don’t get a spring spring, the perfume of wildflowers is wafting on the breeze, and it’s awesome 😛 )

                  @joelle-stone

                  Are we still on for today at 4:00 pm your time? *in case of yes, is storing up Thwapling Power to shower it on you like a flood*

                    @mischievous-thwapling,

                    *rubs hands in gleeful anticipation* Ooh, I can’t wait!

                    And yes, we did have the dodgeball tournament. Our youth group was big enough that we had to split up into two teams, and the one team won the championship while the other team completely lost (*cough cough* that was my team *cough cough*). BUT we did win the not-official dodgeball game against the other team of our youth group (is this confusing or is it just me?). So it was a blast. And that was my favorite part of the week.

                        @mischievous-thwapling

                        Hmmm that would have to be my sleepover at my grandparents’ house over the weekend. In which me and my brother probably watched WAY too many Marvel movies in the space of 24 hours. . . (aka a total of 3 XD)

                        And I also stayed up [probably] too late reading Wingfeather Tales for the first time. I’m honestly kind of annoyed that the short story Willow Worlds was as short as it was. *glowers at N. D. Wilson* Of all the places (SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN’T READ IT YET) Podo could have gone, of all the cupboards / cabinets, he picks the one that leads to Plontst. HE COULD HAVE GONE ON AN EPIC ADVENTURE THROUGH WORLDS TRYING TO FIND HIS WAY BACK TO AERWIAR FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. *grumbles*

                        I mean, the LEAST that N. D. Wilson could have done would be to bring in a raggant, or make the old man Eli FitzFaeren or or the dead grandpa or something instead of a random old guy named Wyle.

                        *decides to shut up before I launch into a tirade directed at one of my favorite authors*

                          @rebekah12,

                          Wingfeather Tales is AWESOME!! (For the most part. I wasn’t a fan of Beyond the Edges of the Maps or whatever it’s called.) My personal favorite is The Deeps of the Dragon King, although The Prince of Yorsha Doon is really good too. 😀

                            Lol, it’s all good! Rant as much as thine heart desires 😛

                            That sounds really fun, though!! But you’re completely right–Willow Worlds could’ve been more…

                            @joelle-stone

                            Sry for rushing off earlier– a family member unexpectedly arrived and I had to hurry off to greet them. (Sadly, he was bearing not-very-good news about afore-mentioned grandma….) But, in all honestly, I feel very guilty for yabbering on and on when we should’ve been editing!! Terribly terribly sorry. Can thou, Queen Kinnan, ever forgiveth thine Evil Scientist, who, yes, makes plenty of mistakes but hath remained ever loyal and true for thine years as queen?

                            @rebekah12

                              @joelle-stone

                              I agree with you about Beyond the Edges of the Maps. . . I found that one kinda depressing. I mean, it’s all good and well to write a story about a dad of a girl who got taken by the Black Carriage, but to choose Sara Cobbler? Seriously? There is no record in any of the books, as far as I can recall, that she ever sees either of her parents again. And then at the end — did the dad just die? What was up with that? It seemed almost like he was dying, but I honestly can’t tell. And if he didn’t die, then what the heck happened?! I did like the epilogue though. . . though I would have liked it a lot more if it had been about the dad somehow having survived, and going and meeting his grandkids.

                              And yes. The Prince of Yorsha Doon was good. It almost reminded me of the live-action Aladdin movie at times. And the Disney version of Prince of Persia. *shrugs* Must be a desert action/adventure thing. It would have been cool if Kal or Janner had somehow shown up in it though, though I can’t really see Andrew Peterson doing that.

                              And then To the Deeps of the Dragon King. . . in my opinion, it could have been better. For one, the references in the main Wingfeather Saga books to how Podo lost his leg don’t match up with it. For another, that wasn’t the imagery that my brain had come up with for Podo’s dragon-hunting days, so yeah. But I can see why you like it.

                                @mischievous-thwapling,

                                Ha, we all know that it’s my fault too (*cough cough* ranting about calves *cough cough*), so forgiveness shalt be granted freely to mine own beloved Evil Scientist. Yet I also must apologize for stealing so much of our precious time. Canst though forgiveth me for mine transgressions?

                                And oh no!! Is everything okay? Praying for you!

                                @joelle-stone

                                  @rebekah12,

                                  Yes, the Prince of Yorsha Doon totally reminded me of Aladdin (I haven’t seen Prince of Persia yet, although I’ve heard of it and watched the trailers). 😀 Glad someone else felt that way. 🙂

                                  Yeah, it took me a while to get used to the imagery in that story. The worst part was definitely describing how they prepared the sqwyrms for sale. *shudder*

                                  But, overall, my least favorite is definitely Beyond the Edges of the Maps. 🙂 Have you got the new version? With the comic about Shadowblade and the Florid Sword?
