NARNIA of course. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s my fervent wish they’ll adapt the entire Chronicles faithfully with a consistent cast before I die. ๐Ÿ™‚ The Last Battle is absolutely fantastic.

      Tolkien. (Enough said.)

Sanderson’s Mistborn trilogy (I’ve yet to read his other works but I own most of them :P). It’s not Christian fantasy though, but very unique magical system and very clean (rare mild language).

Wingfeather is on my list. I’ve just got the Hardcover Illustrated re-release and am excited to be reading it soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

Narnia and Tolkien – the only Christian fiction I’ve ever heard ๐Ÿ™

You don't need to see the wind itself in order to hear the rustling leaves.

Wingfeather Saga!!!! (As if you couldn’t already tell by my username and signature. ๐Ÿ˜› ).

I also enjoy Tolkien and Lewis, and I’m currently reading the Ember series (quick question: is this website named after that series?), though I’m only on the second book.

I just startedย the Ashtown Burials series by N.D. Wilson, who is a Christian. It’s not explicitly Christian (at least the first book, but I assume the same for the rest as it’s from a secular publisher), but you can definitely pick out Christian elements. It draws on a lot of mythological and historical references and is modern fantasy.

Just looked at your signature. IT’S IN LATIN!!! Thank you for that! Ok, it means…

                Always where under where (???)

                Can you please explain that?

Haha, it’s a joke saying. It’s supposed to translate that way, but if you say the translation out loud it sounds like “Always wear underwear”. So to most people it looks like some genuine Latin, but it’s really just a joke.

                  Do you study Latin?

The Wingfeather Saga and Narnia are definitely on my favorites list, but I absolutely love Patricia St. John books. My favorite is Star of Light, but I also really like Tanglewood’s Secret and Treasures of the Snow. Like Wingfeather, they areย meant for kids, but they are fantastic books no matter how old you may be.

The Witch of Blackbird Pond is also one of my favorites. (For those of you who haven’t read it, I know the title seems a little questionable, but I assure you, there is no actual witchcraft in it (: )

Anne of Green Gables is also a good book series. I haven’t made it very far through, but what I have read is pretty good.

Hans Christian Anderson has a ton of really good Christian fairy tales.

Charles Dickens also has really good ones. I especially like The Christmas Carol.

So yeah, that’s my list. Hope it helps!

Be weird. Be random. Be who you are. Because you ever know who would love the person you hide.
