Hello Saxon Scribes!
I’ve been working on a short story for a competition that is coming up fairly soonish (not the SE one) and was hoping for some feedback. If any of you could just look at this doc and leave comments and suggestions, that would be amazing.
I’m mostly trying to deal with character development, preachiness, theme, and the general flow, but if you see anything else, feel free to say so. It would be amazing to get some feedback from you guys!
The name is also on trial, so if you are brilliant with great story names, that would be helpful too.
(Note: Australian spelling is used.)
It is a dystopian story with a limit of 1K-5K. Currently it is 2K. Due : 25.06.18
I’ll put a quick warning in for the content. It contains no swearing, crudeness, and minimal violence. There are allusions to a war. It discusses a bit to do with human alteration and has one section that involves the main character being injected by a needle, and the tip snapping off in her arm. I wouldn’t say there is violence, but it could be considered sad. (Hopefully it provokes emotion.)
