Hey guys!
This past November, I finally finished a rough first draft of my short story/novella (thanks to a few word wars I participated in). I’ve started this story so many times, but this is the first time I’ve made it through to the end. *Happy dance* 😀
I let it sit through the month of December, and now I think I’m about ready to come back to it and do some major editing.
So I have some questions for you guys about second drafts:
– I know this will probably differ for everyone, but what does it look like when you are writing your second draft? Do you have a method that works best for you?
– What specific things do you look out for in your first draft to edit?
– Would you recommend having an alpha reader read the first draft before you start the second one?
– Any other tips or advice for writing a second draft?

You don’t have to answer all the questions, but I will be grateful for advice. 🙂 Thanks!
