Parimis to attention!

I know we haven’t gotten the results back from our NaNo word war yet, but the Prompt War of December has arrived!

Now, some of your are new to this, and that is okay! It’s fairly simple, and you’ll soon work it out.

1. We brainstorm our ideas regarding the prompt through this thread. Here is where we will discuss character, plot, and how to make it unique.

2. Someone writes the first draft. It doesn’t have to be brilliant, and it will be ripped to shreds later.

3. Everyone else will add suggestions, and write more in suggestion mode on Google Docs. I’ll be approving and adding things as well.

4. We’ll keep on doing this and discussing it until we are happy with the result. (Can’t be more than 2500 words)

5. Done, and I’ll send it off to Daeus.

 

Now for the important parts:

THE PROMPT : “Write a dream sequence” (that is, a story in which the character is dreaming)

THE DOCUMENT : Right Here

STARTS : Monday 3rd EST

ENDS : Monday 17th EST

(Basically, if you are in a different timezone like myself, just assume it to keep going until I say stop.)

 

There’s a lot of really cool things we could do with this, but I reckon the prompt is leaning itself towards symbolism. What do you guys think? Any really stellar ideas?
