Hey Ereki! Happy Monday!

I have some news… This past month and a half, I’ve had a lot going on in my life, more than I could ever have anticipated, and I had to make a very difficult decision regarding my commitments. As such, I do have an announcement that does make me sad, but also excited for your future as writers and guild members.

The news is that I am stepping down from being your guildmaster effective the 29th 🙁

I’ve so enjoyed interacting with you all through the topic discussions, guild wars, worldbuilding and everything else in this awesome guild. It’s been an honor and a joy to be your guildmaster for these past months, and I will definitely miss you all, but please know that you can tag me anytime in the regular forum 🙂

As for the future of Erekdale, I ask that you give a warm and supportive welcome to someone whom you’re already very familiar with, your fellow Ereki and second place winner of the inaugural short story contest, @karthmin ! He will be taking over for me as guildmaster, and I know that he will do an incredible job leading Erekdale. He is certainly someone whom I respect and am thankful for as he has made wonderful contributions to this guild through his insight, experience, and enthusiasm. I have no doubt that Erekdale will continue to prosper with him as guildmaster!

I’ll be around this coming week to wrap up the guild homepage project and such, and then will officially pass the guildmaster baton to Karthmin effective Monday, October 29th. 🙂

As I mentioned, I’ll be around the general forum, and I look forward to interacting if our paths cross there.

I trust that you all will continue to enjoy your journey here in Erekdale with Karthmin at the helm 🙂
