Here’s a sketch of The Resilience. I was thinking that we could have the amphitheater/arena like a bubble inside of the ship, so that’s what this shows.

So I looked up the meaning for Effervescence, and the first definition to come up was “bubbles in a liquid; fizz.” second was “vivacity and enthusiasm.” I LOVE the sound of the word, but I don’t know if the ship should be known as bubbles.

Thank you! No, I haven’t seen any of the movies, and I probably won’t for a long time, lol, but I have seen the 1960’s TV series. The back story I got from my dad, or somewhere else.

Thank you! I’m so glad you liked it, and that it is original! I really wanted to make something different, but it’s hard to come up with a different villain because most are spurred by pain. As far as I know, you aren’t just born a ruthless bad-guy, XD 😀

I like that idea but my characters are teenagers… Do you really want teenagers to be leading major government positions? (Not saying that my characters will win but still… there might be others).

I meant that the bad-guys get impeded in some way, so they aren’t able to dispose of the losers of the Cullings — so then our guys go in and do a daring rescue

So far there are eight branches of the government, and each has a separate Culling. This might not work properly if we want out characters together though…
