@happyholly_c I’ve read one of his books, Cat of Bubastes. It was a good story and really interesting characters. It felt a little difficult to read with long sentences.

There is light in the name so I think it absolutely has to be a reflective gold or silver. Since there is also water or a stream or a trickle in the name, then a blue should also be included.

So, uh…that bombed a little. I have about 56,000 words, but I’m still about 20,000 words behind. My semester starts today, so that means it’s gonna take even longer to finish this. Oh well. At least I’m in the really cool part now. 🙂

@pookiemonster Oh absolutely! At one point one of my characters is six-years-old and my six-year-old sister was the perfect example of the behavior for that age. 🙂

@allison-grace They are cute, but unfortunately not my dogs. It’s an old picture I found of two dogs in the Iditarod that I used for a school presentation. It’s been my profile pic for years.

I was thinking of a few different ways to describe the actual action of the sun going beneath the horizon. There’s the sun snuggling under the horizon like a person under the sheets. There’s also a new, golden penny sliding into the coin slot in the Earth.

I like drawing people, but have tried to get more into environments. Still can’t draw animals though.
