So guys, I’m a whole week late for my turn at the Bible passage a week thing.

Sorry.

But I’m here to do it now and hopefully I’ll still be able to encourage you anyway.

These past three months have been the hardest months of my life. I’ve said that before quite a lot of times, but I usually just mean that I was lonely or frustrated, or lacking…[Read more]

I just listened to the Meraki song, and I was wondering…did anybody else imagine aerial shots of Lord of the Rings-esque  landscapes as they listened to it?! *smiles widely as she envisions a majestic mountain range covered in trees and with a river rushing through it*

@selah-chelyah
Out of curiosity, do you know whether the background vocals…[Read more]

Aw, thank you guys so much. You’re the best guildlings ever. 💕

@selah-chelyah

I’m about a quarter or so through it. Just up to the bit where Dantes visits Caderousse disguised as a priest.

@selah-chelyah I got the book last summer from a used bookshelf and the thing is BIG. Small print, around three inches thick, too heavy to hold up. I’ve started it but haven’t gotten far. I really adore the audio drama (I’m a big audio drama girl), it’s one of my favorites, and I want to see the musical.

@selah-chelyah

Ooh, I plan to! 😀😀 It was good from the beginning.

The version I saw was 1957…so like ancient. 😉 I’ve never seen the 2012 version either.

@selah-chelyah The Meraki song is amazing! 😀 As are the other instrumentals you posted. Instrumental music is among the best! <3

@jane-maree @selah-chelyah

We have an epic theme music!! <3 I love it! I can imagine us writing intensely to this music in a guild war. Haha!

@selah-chelyah: 3 hours!!! *looks around* I uh… gotta… *mumbles* do something…. BYE!

@seekjustice Yeah…..I’m terrible at holding musical movies up to the standards of actual musicals and the music to me wasn’t as soul felt as a musical. Plus I think its weird when they are speak singing? The music behind the words makes it so much better. THE LONDON CAST………ughhhhhhhhhhh………best Grantaire I have heard yet…….he…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah

Wow, I’m glad you can imagine them so well from those little writings. That was super fun. Maybe I should push my antagonists through it too…

Would you rather have a pet dragon or a pet phoenix?

Wayne: Why? I suppose I like dragons better, but there’s not a clear reason why.

Isaac: The child inside of me grins at the thought o…[Read more]

I’m also a bit of a collector. I have (supposedly) the best translation, the original French musical, the original London cast, the 10th Anniversary film, the 25th Anniversary film, the Tom Hooper movie musical, and old movie that’s terrible but has actual French actors in it.

And I wrote a retelling.

I think I may have a…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah I…have not read it and I doubt I’ll ever make it through if I try. xD

I’ve been trying to read Oathbringer (Brandon Sanderson) for the last seven+ months, so I don’t have a great track record with hugely long books. 😛

@selah-chelyah Whoa that’s so cool! 😍

Check this out,…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah

Haha yeah. Victor Hugo was a great writer….. Les Miserables is one of the only love triangles I like, in both the book and musical. So that’s saying something on it’s own, considering how much I hate love triangles usually…. XD

My profile is just a free image of a crow I used for a collage a while ago, so I had it downloaded…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah: Oh, well I still like it : D! Cool! let me listen to it! *listens to aweomse music in the background*

@selah-chelyah

Haha, thanks! My favorite adaptation so far is the musical, just because it’s so gorgeous–the music, the acting, the cinematography–it’s all amazing. I love it.

Hm…. favorite character… I really like Eponine, especially after I read the book and found more out about her. In the musical, Marius is probably my favorite…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah

Ooh, I’m actually a bit of Les Miserables collector…. I have a 1954 abridged version that I believe is a first edition… though I’m not sure. And then I also just found an unabridged special edition that I bought new a few months ago(and boy, it’s gorgeous). And I also own the musical. XD I really want to find the manga…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah

OH GOODNESS YES I LOVE THE BRICK!

That is what we readers of the unabridged Les Mis book call it. I so enjoyed learning about the sewers of Paris 😉 haha that was my least favorite part because I wanted to know what happened so bad. But I did enjoy the snippet on the battle!

As for the movie…I like the casting….they did an…[Read more]
