I agree with @r-m-archer on this one. Having the character as a child doesn’t seem to fit with what I’d envisioned based on what the other Saxon Scribes have been saying. I especially love @ethryndal‘s idea of the main character being the one who’s causing this sunrise to be the last one. And I don’t think a child . . .

Hang on – that would be awesome. If it was a child bringing the world to an end, that would be fascinating and super powerful.

But also harder to justify. We’d have to put more of an explanation in than we would if the one bringing the world to an end was an adult. We’d have to explain two things: Her reason and her means.

Why would a child bring the world to an end?

Almost more importantly, how would a child do this? Clearly, it would have to be supernatural, and that’s something we would have to explain.

I’m also getting some vibes that the character should be a girl.
