Personally I’m pleased that I made the dark elves not evil. Especially since dark elves are almost always evil in stories today.

(My friend who I made a character for is a dark elf and she’s still skeptical about the whole not evil thing even though I’ve told her many times they’re not evil.)

@MaddieJay That’s essentially what I do as well! Getting to the THE END of any draft feels so great that I can actually see who and what I want to work  with and become excited about revisions. Usually the next draft is a blank page.
