  • Ah yes, sorry about taking over the thread. I’ll restrain myself on this one. 🙂

  • @erynne

    Annnd I’m back again lol.

Yeah Leeli is adorable! I actually had a dream a few days ago that I got a pet iguana and named it after her… Yeah, it was interesting. I also like Podo.

Yeah, Podo is also pretty great. And nice of you to name you dream iguana after Leeli, but personally I don’t think I’d want one in the first place. *random s…[Read more]

    First off, that was amazing.

Second off, I don’t even like to call myself American (even though I was born in America) and I’ve never been very keen on the whole patriotism thing. That being said, I am super impressed with how you managed to get even me to feel the passengers’ fire and passion to save the lives of others.

Hey again! I am so sorry I didn’t see this earlier!

Peet the sock man of course! How about you?

Yeah, Peet is pretty great. I’d have to say he or Leeli is my favorite.

Oh how funny! What’s the reason he is no longer in the military!

He did ROTC (where the military pays for all of your college, but then you have to do four years of m…[Read more]

That’s understandable. I’m actually only on the second book, but the first one is definitely the one I like better of the two.

Nice! Do you have a favorite character?

It was my dad, and no he’s no longer in the military.

No way! Lol my dad was in the military too, but not anymore.

Hmm. I will have to try it on Word after church. It shoul…

I absolutely LOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEEE those pictures!!   They’re so beautiful

Aww thanks! I’m glad you like them. I like them too. 🙂

Here’s the link for pictures of Missouri. None are of where I live exactly because I don’t have a good picture lol

Hmm, it says I don’t have access when I click the link. Maybe you haven’t turned on the ‘share…[Read more]

Hey, that works! I’ll have to ask my friend (I recently forced her to read it) if she remembers a kitten to refresh my memory.

    Sounds good lol.

I’m assuming you have because most people on the forum have but have you read Wingfeather?

Haha, yep! I really liked them, but I’m not quite as crazy about them as some people I know. 😛

The bad side is the Insurgents (I mentioned them earlier, they’re the large rebel group that overtook Erin’s country). The ‘good side’ would be the people fighting against them.

Ohhhhh I see. Sorry, I had the two sides mixed up. 🙂

  • @erynne

I’m probably the one who’s off lol. I haven’t read in a while. I’ll have to read it again soon.

Alrighty, I see there is only one way to settle this question of who is the more off. *pulls up Google*… Google! Are there kittens in Star of Light by Patricia St. John?

    Google: no relevant results.

Hmmmm. *clicks on images* Ah ha! So there…[Read more]

Cool! I like that you’re making it important that each of the family members play a part. It seems like the main character’s family often gets overlooked, when really when you think about it, the family has probably helped  shaped the character to be who they are.

I want to make him more deeper involved in the country’s conflict. Li…

No, I haven’t! I’ll have to see if I can find it because that sounds super helpful. Thank you so much!

    Anytime! 😀

Ok cool! I don’t think I remember kittens in it. XD

Well then, whoops. I trust your memory better than mine. I must be thinking of something else. 😛

The Witch of Blackbird Pond is definitely my favorite. It’s got everythi…

Ooh! I like both your story ideas! Especially the rebel one with the Insurgents (I love that name choice, by the way). May I hear one of those plot twists or is it a surprise? 🙂

  • @erynne

Yeah I totally agree. I can’t make my fantasy a cry book because I don’t think it would fit with all the comedy and adventure, so I have to wait for my next one. I think it all depends on how well you connect with the characters. Which is another problem I’m having. I have to make an innocent, loveable princess but I haven’t been too suc…

Oh, and, your ramble was awesome

Oh yay lol. It always surprises me when people like my rambles because they seem so incoherent to me. I don’t understand my own brain. 😛

The pirates force him to make dinner and that’s a disaster because he’s never cooked before then when he finally gets done it’s not how the pirates like it. They don’t like bones in their fish. And yes, one does choke on a bone.

Sounds like a fun side story! But poor guy (or gal) who chokes on a fishbone. 😛

No, I haven’t. But that won’t be hard. I just look up baby names or unique baby names or baby boy/ girl names or baby names that start with the letter_ or-you get the idea.

Well, sounds like you have a good plan. 🙂

All that really gets mentioned is that he can’t cook and his mom always takes the bones out of fish when she makes it

There have been countless times that I forget about a part of my story then in a later chapter write something that completely ruins that first part. I know I’m rambling so here’s an example… We’ve been talking about Tara. I completely forgot about her and then named a mermaid Zara   I will definitely have to change that.

I guess just friends. That might change later on but for now they can just be friends who bug each other like crazy. (I’m the writer yet I sound so clueless XD)

Nice! I love how the closer friends are, the more they act like siblings. Also known as managing to bug each other each other 24/7 but still taking bullets for the other person. X…[Read more]

Rough drafts are always the worst but it probably would’ve been so much better if I had known what I was doing, lol.

I couldn’t agree more. Though I suppose it’s a learn as you go type of thing. So, maybe we couldn’t have known everything at the beginning anyways. XD

At least for me because I’m super sarcastic XD
