Yeah, one of my favorite Missionary autobiographies is Evidence Not Seen, but it’s been years since I read it. We moved my dad had to get rid of a lot of his books and I think that was one of them because I was supposed to grab anything I wanted and there were so many! I’ve gotta order a copy of it for myself sometime, but I remember it being super good!
Haven’t heard that first one, I’ve heard Redwall is good from a lot of people but haven’t got around to reading them yet…lol…people keep telling me because I love Green Ember I like Redwall. Skyward and Stormlight Archives aren’t something I’ve heard of either… hmm, I’m gonna have to look them up.
The Ascendance Series is just so great! Though, I haven’t got around to reading book 5 yet…
Bless!
Kaytlin P.Oh, New Mexico is so beautiful! Are you setting it in the plains or mountains? Both are so gorgeous! That’s where we went on vacation last year.
You could try just Kate’s Journey, I personally find it slightly cliche when a romance title always includes love in the title, but that’s just me…lol…
Um, Loves Long Journey…or even thinking about other aspects of the book. Like how she meets her true love. You could reference other titles in the genre and read them to find out how the title fits, that might help as well!

Kaytlin P.Lol….thank you and good! I was hoping I wasn’t the only insane person around! 😉

Kaytlin P.Great to be here and thank you so much!!!
Oh wow! Your book sounds super cool!!! My sisters and I write together and the genre-mixing we do can get pretty intense, so I feel ya! I totally look forward to reading that!
Oh, hard one! I will read just about any genre as long as the book is Christian of clean, except I won’t read horror. So, basically, do I have a favorite genre? Not really…lol…what about you?
Picking favorite books is like choosing favorite children…lol…but I’ll try. The Green Ember Series, Wingfeather Sage, Ascendance Series, The Moretti Trilogy, Grace Suffiencient Series, Chronicles of Narnia, SongKeeper Chronicles, LotR, Wars of the Realm, The Kingdom Series, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables Series, Refuge Series, Words on Fire, The Scourge, Adorning the Dark, God of the Garden….and this list is becoming long and could keep going…lol…What about you?
Bless!
Kaytlin P.Nice to meet you! I once heard a quote that said, “You’re not too old and it’s not too late.” I love that thought! Best of luck!
Oh, I’m familiar, at least with the general area, of Soddy Daisy! We live on the TN, NC, and GA line…lol…Old westerns are the best! Me and my brothers used to watch them all the time! Cool! Sounds like my parents’ dream retirement…lol…
Same!
Bless!
Kaytlin P.I will let you know, the blog tour I’ve set up, starts on the 16th and runs to release day on the 25th…I’m a bit nervous, but hopefully, all goes well…lol…
Also, sorry about the late reply, my internet has been down since Friday evening.
Bless!
Kaytlin P.Nice! The 19th century (Victorian Era) is easily my second favorite period in history.
It’s a lot of fun to, tracking down the info I need has been more work than I normally do but also fun to see what I can find.
That’s great! Are you going the traditional or self-publishing route? What’s the plot of the book?
I’m self-publishing through KDP, lots of work but I’ve met some cool people and learned a lot! The story is about Fledge, a deaf archer who wants to help in the war against the dragons but can’t because of his disability. It’s a story of unlikely friendship, discovery, and pupose.
I wrote my first sentence of fictional prose in July of 2021, so a little less than a year it would seem. Yes, I’m a complete newbie. 🙃
Well, we were all new at one point.
My first novel (the what-in-the-world-is-writing kind) I wrote last Fall. It taught me about two trillion things, which leaves several trillion to go.
I know what you mean! Even after having been writing for almsot five years I’m still learning so much!
Over winter, I finished my first real project–the first book in a medieval historical fiction action and intrigue series. I love medieval history, which drove me into said genre. I’m currently working on book two in the series.
Oh, that sounds so cool! I love medievel historical fiction! One of my favorite time periods! I like a lot of different historical fictions through…lol…That is so awesome!
My first books were techincally ones I wrote with my sisters. So thought World of Silence is the first project I completed and wrote by myself it is not the first book I’ve been part of writing.

Hey Noah, nice to meet you!
Awesome! Big families are tons of fun in my opinion. 🙂
I’ve been seriously writing for about five years. My current WIP is a western set in 1860-1870 Kansas. It’s about a young man named Daniel who is running from God and the pain in his past. I’ve completed one book about 2 years ago, I’m actually about to release it! It’s an MG fantasy that was lots of fun to write!
We live 20 minutes out of a small town, only as big as it is because at lot of people like to vacation here…not a fan of that…lol…but my dad’s good with maps so he finds out of the way places for us to hike.
How long have you been writing? And if I may ask what’s your current WIP and have you finished any books?
Bless!
