Guildlings gather around! OUR FIRST GUILD WAR HAS BEGUN!!!

Quick recap: a guild war is where each of the guilds competes against the other guilds to try write the best scene/the most words/etc. This week it’s about writing an epic scene.

The Challenge: write the most emotionally impactful death scene.

The Dates and Stuff: starting Monday 4th. Ending Monday 18th.

We have TWO WEEKS to write a super duper emotional scene. How will we do that? It’s pretty straightforward.

1. We brainstorm here on this topic. We decide what sort of take we want to put on the scene and how we want to make it super emotional and what genre and all of those details.
2. We write a scene (or two!) in this google doc HERE. You can each add your ideas into the story, and if we have more than one idea, feel free to write two scenes and once they’re done we can choose between the two. (NOTE: the scene has to be under 2500 words)
3. We edit. We polish. We make sure that this is the best we can make it. We also make sure the character voice is nice and strong because that’ll make it really good and unique. *thumbs up*

So LET THE BRAINSTORMING BEGIN! If you have ideas for how you imagine this scene going, shoot them out. We’ve all got to work together and develop this thing so we thrash everyone else at this war because THEY DON’T KNOW OUR SKILLS. *throws confetti*
